If we extrapolate from this French datum for the at least 8 other Roman Catholic dominant countries, we end up with almost 2 million children raped by Roman Catholics just since 195O. The diocese of Los Angeles, for a second time, now has to pay almost 9OO million dollars due to all of the children which they have been raping for many decades and centuries. The FBI is currently investigating the rampant level of sexual abuse of women and children in the Southern Baptist Convention. Which is the largest Christian denomination in America. Liberty University, the famous Evangelical University, recently was fined 14 million dollars for just ignoring the significant level of rape on their campus for many, many, many, decades. Christian sexual repression is not innocent, as it leads to an ugly level of sexual abuse. So take care whenever you are in the sexually toxic Christian community. Especially the child raping Roman Catholic Empire. Remember that idealism is always, always, always, based on denialism. Because the current Christian teachings on Human Sexuality are just as wrong as their teachings on Human Slavery used to be until quite recently. I dealt with this a few years ago in a church by a leader. I am still learning to trust people again and realize that not every leader out there is a manipulative narcissist. It has been hard and a long painful process.

My mom worked in a Christian school that used ACE curriculum when i was younger. My brother went to the same school. She pulled us both out of school to start homeschooling us in the mid-80s because the educational content is the PACE books was so pitiful that my brother couldn't read in 3rd grade. (And yes, we got himeschooled using IBLP/ATI, but also actual educational curriculum). We got lucky-ish, because Mom had a Master's of Education, so she actually understood how to choose curriculum and assess learning

I can assure you that the A in the ALERT stands for A-hole. There was a guy there named Clark who would watch recruits do things wrong and then later ridicule, cuss at, threaten physical violence against, and put them down for getting those things wrong Then when the cadre were around he would patronize and fain encouragement toward the same recruits. Several graduates I have met had negative attitudes toward rules and other people. One said in response to the verse "iron versus iron" that other people were mud compared to him. I went to Verity with a former member of the cadre named J. Anders. He didn't want other students announcing class prayer in chapel because he didn't like feeling obliged to come. When other students were having prayer meetings, he would show up and sabotage it with his very angry and annoyed presence.

Has been for decades and their slow take over of the US government they simultaneously hate and fear monger about since the early 80’s was and is a well calculated plan. I was listening to a former IHOPKC member's story recently. She said that in the 1980s in the wake of the Jesus People movement (when a senior leader molested her), there just was no "grid" for identifying and addressing sexual abuse & predatory behaviour by church leaders. This upsets me so much. I was a teenager in the 1980s. Everywhere I turned, I collided with gender hierarchy & male headship doctrine. I constantly pointed out that authority pyramids were unbiblical and counter to the unity & mutuality of true Kingdom of God culture. Everywhere, I could see grooming behaviour, coercive behaviour and predatory behaviour by the same men who lectured us on "purity" and man-splained the "umbrella of protection" to us and told us that women who wore mascara or pants were "in rebellion" and that rebellion was "as the sin of witchcraft". I noticed that the ones who spewed spiritualized misogyny & homophobia the most (carefully camouflaged in flowery Christian "love") seemed to be the ones most likely to be up to stuff behind the scenes and off the stage. So, in the 1990s, I started keeping a list. Ted Haggard. Jimmy Swaggart. Jim Bakker. Bill Gothard. Doug Phillips. The names kept coming. I started speaking up. I pointed out that gender inequality, white-washed sexism, and male headship doctrine in the church, plus the emphasis on venerating "authority", would lead to a scourge of sexual abuse & exploitation, and cover up, in the church. Even I could not have foretold how bad, and how rampant it would be. So, can you guess what happened to me, when I started calling out authoritarianism & male supremacy in the church, as early as the 1980s? I was branded a Jezebel. No one wanted to hear. I am just one of thousands of people, with true 'prophetic' voices on this issue, who were cast out, our warnings dismissed. I cannot tell you how frustrated I feel. We were told that WE were the evil ones. Our voices were quenched. We couldn't stop men like Bickle, or Morris and we couldn't save people like Tammy, or Cindy. The "nice" people in the church disapproved of the likes of us.

Brilliant episode. I knew a few people using this or a very similar curriculum and as far as infants were concerned, it was appalling. Meals their hands were held down and they were spoon fed even until older age. That's the least of it and with some babies they were adopted (and therefore traumatized).

I came across Christian Domestic Discipline when I first started speaking out about Christian Patriarchy in the early 2000s. I remember the posts. Women who thought getting hit was intimacy. Men who were just disgusting lazy chauvinists with no capacity for healthy connection and huge sexual repression issues and overblown entitlement & ego. I got onto the forums and it was horrendous. Those women were so degraded. I can testify that it was real, and that it was all headed towards Christo-Fascist authoritarian theocracy.

My heart truly goes out to all those abused in this cult. narcissists love to twist and cherry pick bible verses for their own agendas. I am also a survivor of abuse. I just want to say that the IBLP misrepresents Jesus and His word. He is loving and kind. He chose to lay down HIs life on Calvary to redeem us and to give us life . My aunt Mary Ann Parker did this to my cousin as a child abusing her and even turning against her when she came out as way later on. My aunt had alot of us fooled and we didn't believe My cousin when she came out with her story of abuse but now knowing what I know and spending so much time around her I see it and regret not believing my cousin. You never really do know a person until you're behind closed doors with them on the daily. She tried to call my aunt to forgive her and of course, she refused to answer the call. Very telling.
