Smart Made Home

Thinking is great!! Just thinking and doing nothing is equally bad.
Lately I have been doing many things, making stuff and solving problems. Most of the time I forget to make videos or capture pictures. May be when I start sharing my projects, I'll improve on that. My interest area is broad, but currently I'm on a quest to make my home SMART (and also my eBike and hopefully my car).
I have problems to which I try to find a solution. If not, I create one. This channel will feature some of the stuffs I created out of necessity or curiosity.

Use Android Phone As Door Bell | Part 1 | Visitor And Home Owner Notifications
I was looking for a smart DIY doorbell and thought of using an old android phone for this purpose. A mobile phone has everything - screen, camera, and microphone to have effective communication across the walls or over the internet for that matter. In this video, I tried to show how one can get started with the idea to have it announce a message on Google/Nest Home and Amazon Echo devices inside the home as well as feedback to the visitor itself.

Smart Door Camera Bell Using An Old Mobile
Просмотров 1,5 тыс.Год назад
Hi, I wanted to make a smart doorbell camera system that should not cost much. Upon looking for some options, I started this project using an old android phone. It might not be useful to all or practical as you need to put your phone outside of your home. However, this will be a funfilled learning journey for me and maybe you all. One use case can be for internal use. Let's say you have a home ...

Get Notification When Node-Red Starts | Telegram | Chromecast This is how I get notified when my Node-Red server starts. This helps me to know when it's ready for processing. Pretty handy when you want to test some automation or make sure the brain of the system is working or not. Free Video Call on TV Which Gets Auto Answered
Просмотров 4473 года назад
In this video, I demonstrated how I use a spare webcam with my TV to make video calls to home. best part is, the call gets answered automatically. So no need for someone to pickup remote and 'accept' video call. It's very useful with children and elderly people. For this we need two apps to be installed on your TV. If you have Android TV or a TV which supports the Android apps, you are good to ...
220 Volt RGB LED Strip Remote Control Over Internet Using Blynk

220 Volt RGB LED Strip Remote Control Over Internet Using Blynk This is the story of how I used a 220 volt RGB LED strip as room ambient lighting using cheap items that are readily available in the market. Be very careful while working with mains voltage. If you need detailed information regarding installing Blynk libraries and tools for Arduino IDE and how to connect NodeMCU (ESP8266) and 4 ch...
Controlling 220 Volt RGB LED Strip over internet
Просмотров 624 года назад
I have a mains voltage RGB LED strip and was looking for some way to control it remotely. There is no smart controller for such strips available, except IR remotes. But that is not a smart way to manage a LED strip, is it? Find the full video here - ruclips.net/video/M7UxbRF-BJ4/видео.html
video will appear on top when someone is watching the tv, No voice test.
Thank you. 😊 Is it even possible to put a strain on this in the long run? Is quite a lot of weight due to the additional plates and the place settings....
Thank you! 🤗
I’m excited to do this! Exactly what I need for a diy table bookcase!!!!
The exact video I am looking for! Thank you thank you thank you!!
Great idea!
any chanse to share 3d model?
What's the length of the slider mechanism that you used?
I used four pairs of 16 inch telescopic channels. In extended form it spread out to 80 inches.
Finally someone cracked it. Thanks
Hi! Any way you can install these without drilling?
I guess not. Any tape or glue won't be able to bear the weight.
When I try to inject node in 1:40 It says: warning node has undeployed changes
Oh, i forgot to deploy, no I have an error in the node RaspberryPi CPU temp
So how many 🪑 does that fit?
Upto 8.
How to purchase?
Where to buy?
How much weight can it take?
I had put around 12 kg. Haven't tested more than that. Channels are usually capable to bear much more than that, but joints are week points. I even considered welding channels together. Haven't done that though.
I enjoyed this video. I liked how the music was beautiful. It's a grand idea. You did a mock up table to test the mechanism. Very nice. I can use this idea. This looks very good. Did u build the table. That would be interesting adding more and more leaves over time 😄
Glad you enjoyed it! Yes I built the table as well. Its in another video.
How long are the bolts you used to connect them?
5 mm. But I would suggest to test with multiple sizes. It would depend on thickness of your sliding channel.
This is genius, can you upload a list of every cut used?
Please!
Hi.can you make a DIY recliner mechanism
That would be really great if I could. Have to ponder over it.
