If you have a 12V backup battery, check voltage on that if the first off/on reset fails. You need to check the voltage as the gate is trying to operate, as it will probably show close to 12V until the motor starts running. I had a 93 error. When I checked the battery, it would go from 12V to ~7V within 10 seconds of motor starting. Turns out the gate circuit breaker was off, and the battery wasn't being charged. After about an hour of AC power being on and battery charging, gate is good to go.

I just got one but don't like the fact that entering the code is not sequential. Any combination of the four (or six) digits, no matter the order you enter it, will open the gate.

I just bought a house and the old owners didn't give the code to the key pad. How do I reset the keypad? Isit as simple as reseting the learn button in the box?

Hi in Australia. We don't have a surface mounted product like that for pool gates with a digital keypad. A Couple of question my gate frame is 25 mil across and 35-40 mil deep. The gate post is 50 ml x 50 ml. Could the lock be installed on those dimensions. Also, its hard to tell but I assume the gate self latches well. And you can have a key pad on both sides.

When you say change the handing pin if necessary, you should specify putting the pin in on the LEFT side for left handed door or RIGHT side for right handed door. Just to confirm.

those carriages seem like overkill for the size of gate. Wouldn't the CGS 250.8P have worked? That gate doesn't weigh more than 1000lbs does it?

you might want to check out the QuickTrench System ... If you only need to bury a 1in line why do you need to dig a 3in trench? No gas, two hand tools = a foot a minute @ 8in depth. Piece of crap spent £400 for 1x sure close hinge hold on 90degrees and self closing from 85degres only to find out is not working ,it starts the closing motion from 60-65degress ,customer not happy ,bad review and a loss of 900£ for a tiny gate worth 400£without hinges I will never use them again
