It took a while for me to come up with the almost perfect trailer for my work. Especially if there is no such a thing like a "perfect trailer" in heavy haul.

To finish delivery I had to rent day cab truck. And that created some unforeseen complications. Also graphical consequences of unprofessional electrical accessories installation.

Whatever Spencer told me before he disassemble the engine - turned out to be exactly what happened. Bent nozzle never did proper job with cooling piston #6 down. Nice diagnosis by Demon Diesel! Shame on Caterpillar techs who never bothered to check nozzles out before assemble!

After adding a little power to rebuilt 3406E 2WS engine all the imperfections revealing themselfs

We live and we learn, and hope that it doesn’t break us. Nice trailer, I have been looking at the very same one.
Nice trailer. Good looking truck but there is a lot of crap in the paint. It needs a real good refinish though. You can’t just keep throwing wax on top of the paint all the time. You can start by using a clay bar first and then rubbing compound to get the oxidation and swirl marks out before you can even start to wax or seal the paint. That truck can look 100 times better with the proper job done.
Sweetest 4-axle set-up ever! Love how that stinger “deploys”!

3 minutes into the video and I see that the trailer is completely on the ground with no feet or at least blocks of wood to prevent scraping the bottom paint. Is it normal to have trailers like this touching the ground? And what is the purpose of the extended wheel base at the end? Is that to add more load?
This is normal. RGN trailers are running pretty low sometimes and you have to keep momentum over some uneven surfaces. Most dangerous are railroad crossings. Some are not worth of trying your luck. And yes - practically every RGN trailer does not have paint on the bottom. Its scraped off.

Fastest? Maybe, best way? Probably not. Replacing wood deck more often gets expensive. Sad part is he was parked on dirt.. I've done that when I couldn't get off the street and had a curb and sidewalk to avoid. Trailer detaches for a reason.. drive on and off.. to each their own though. 🤷♂️

Looking like it has hydraulic rear steer
The rear has a pin that allows the rear axle to fallow.
Must be hard trying to transfer wieght on the front axle with that fifth wheel set up...nice looking unit tho
Yeah slider isnt long enough. This trailer looks extremely heavy and zero arch. It wouldnt work where i live.
