La société Jean-François Daber a été fondée en 1981 par Jean Schmitt, expert en lutherie. L’atelier est aujourd’hui une référence mondiale dans la fabrication d’archets français de haut niveau.
Notre mission est d’aider les musiciens à produire le son qu’ils imaginent en tirant le meilleur parti des capacités acoustiques de leurs instruments. Nous travaillons avec eux sur la relation entre le son, le corps et l’archet. Notre objectif est de toujours mieux comprendre et maîtriser le son ainsi que sa production pour repousser continuellement les limites de performances de nos archets.

Ce n'est pas un avantage que ça égalise le son. J'aime beaucoup la guitare car elle dispose d'une palette sonore très variée. Je suis passionné aussi par le violon.
Si, c'en est un, et c'est aussi ce que tous les musiciens recherchent. J'ai l'impression que vous confondez tessiture et équilibre entre les hauteurs de sons, couleur sonore ou timbre d'un instrument.
How wasteful. If the planks are cut in L shape the other L can be inverted to make another bow instead of a scrap wood.

The question that arrises immediately to me: how do you keep the wood pernambuko stock safe from pests attacking wood? I mean, if you really keep 15 years old wood on shelves, how to protect them? If spraying wood with chemicals - that could effect wood and intended later for humans to hold it in hand. Some chemicals I have used to protect roof wood are life dangerous, I used expensive mask for protection.
They say that they inspect each planks of pernambuko they receive, my guess it that if there are some pests attacking wood they will see it and remove every planks with traces of pest. But that shouldn't happened though, since the supplier should have done that beforehand and delivered them a healthy batch. Finally if the plancks are stored properly in good conditions it should limit the development of pest as well.
ok, cool, mais le cadrage...et le micro utilisé ne rend pas vraiment hommage au son de l'archet.
