I've been told by friends who've witnessed things like you did with the little jet ski gang, but the ones they ran into were searching for GPS packages floating or sunkin in the ocean for reasons we all can guess why..take care be safe and if ever you need a crew member I'm your guy...
Good to know
WOW That's Disgusting! what disrespectful animals they are. they should be Fined and prosecuted ! I wonder what their houses look like ? Pig pens? I'm sure he threw the cigarette butt in the water ?
He did.
We are thinking about heading up to the Bahamas after we get done here in Puerto Rico. We are only a year in to our sailing journey ourselves. What's your plan for the upcoming season?
We love the Exuma’s, but have considering moving south to BVI. But our “season” is summer, and not the winter like most cruisers.
@ we spent our first year in the USVI and BVI and most of the summer in Puerto Rico.
Not an attack. Shouldn't conflate to an MC either.
Point taken.
@threedogcat thanks
Attack is a strong word. Sucks you went through this but the title is misleading, its clickbait. Is there no way to report the destruction?
We did report it. Though I don’t think they have the resources for the park service to do much about it.
I stunned when yahters ask for cash.
Never heard of that one
1THIS CHANNEL SHOULD HAVE BEEN CALLED ,"TWO KARENS WITH THEIR DOGS".so stupid from you two.NO ONE REMOVED YOU FROM THE PLACE AND I DON'T SEE ANY OUT OF PLACE BEHAVIOR AND FOR YOUR INFORMATION THE JET SKI ANCHORS ARE MADE OF PLASTIC. THE SEA IS FOR EVERYONE TO ENJOY.You guys behaved like two immature children. Never again will watch your channel
You really come across as an entitled half wit. Anyone on the sea is treated as an equal should it be from a dingy to a super yacht. We help each other in times of need. I could go on but i think you will be realising from your episode you really called this one wrong just to get clicks.
When your a see where do your dogs use the potty?
We have a pee pad on the bow.
Always the jet skiers that have to ruin the fun.
There’s good ones too who follow the rules and are respectful, but certainly a lot of bad apples.
clickbait bullshit
You gotta bag it man. burying it will do nothing and it will find its way to affect the reefs. AND your setting a bad example for other dog owners who go there. great vid and lifestyle you got going though. kudos.
Thanks for the tip
Nice video. You need to lower the volume of the BACKGROUND music. Still LIKE.
Agreed!
YA YOU GUYS ARE SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE JET SKIERS WITH YOUR 3 ANNOYING DOGS SHITING ALL OVER THE BEACHES BREAKING THE TREES & TRYING TO KILL ALL THE NATIVE ANIMALS YOU🤡‼️
You guys are the Karen’s of the ocean . I clicked on this because it said attacked . Then you started talking about disregard of the environment while letting your dog’s crap all over it . 😂 Wimp .
So you’re cool with people dropping their anchors right on the reef/coral? And surrounding a family in the water at the reef with their jet skis and nearly running them over? Throwing cigarettes in the water? Yes our dogs shit, but we clean it up and haul it out.
@ Sure you do . 😉 I’m cool with people not exaggerating and asking to talk to the manager and putting the camera down and handling stuff the old way .
The music sux.
What would you have used (royalty free)?
@ None. It’s not a music video.
What a bunch of faking Karen’s what a joke
Exactly
Why so much hate for the name Karen?
These jet-skiers were definitely fulfilling the stereotypes of why they’re disliked around the world. No respect, no talent, no clue, no class. I’m sorry you had to deal with them. You seem like nice people.
Thank you.
Sitting there smoking a cigarette on the Jet Ski..what losers...
Smh
I don’t find anything exciting about you channel. Keep at those.
Ok thanks!
The attack was too overwhelming you didn’t think you could mention to them they weren’t suppose to anchor?
We not only mentioned it, we yelled it over and over. I didn’t get a lot of the in water situation on video, as it was tense, and honestly was scared for our safety and more focused on getting out of the situation than filming it all.
You sound more like an entitled Karen with you misleading headline, I didn't see anyone get "attacked" all I saw was you feeling entitled thinking the ocean was yours and that anyone else would have to be a "gang member" ! Shame on you man !!
Jet skiers kinda stupids 😮 And more in the caribbean 😑👎🏿
Loving the happy dog action
South Florida Jet Skiers. You giys are wusses
Great to see a channel without sails. Have you done, or can you an episode on off grid costs of living on a power cat? Do you run the ac a lot, how much solar do you have, etc. I’d love to get a cat someday, so constantly looking for cost estimates to help plan. Donate for a Dream
I did this interview with leopard which kind of goes into a lot of that. We do hope to do future episodes covering it more as well. ruclips.net/video/MYxcoAvjFig/видео.htmlsi=6xgFuAv_wARnb4EI
They need to be reported... Hard!!! They have zero respect not sure why everyone is talkn' crap on y'all in the comments🤷🏼♂️ they wer wrong you guys wer absolutely right
Thx. And we did report them, but the park services are very under staffed and doubt they could do much.
@@threedogcat sounds about right...🤦🏼♂️
How do you plan out fuel management and do you find it hard to get fuel where you are at?
Fuel is generally available in the Exuma’s/bahamas. We hold 500+ gallons, so when we are near a fuel dock we top it off. Our boat can range from .5mpg to 2.0 mpg depending on cruising speed. There is good fuel in Nassau, Staniel and Georgetown so that covers us up and down the Exuma chain.
Three Dog Cat Family, What an amazing journey your family is experiencing. My wife and I just watched all your videos and they are lovely. We are also aspiring to eventually be "Two Dog Cat" family. We recently went to Staniel Cay and stayed at one of the villas on the water. We flew over with friends. I can only imagine how beautiful it was to arrive by Catamaran. Please keep up with the 5 Paw Reviews. Have fun and Safe Travels!
That is awesome! Thx so much for the kind words!!
What made you choose a powered catamaran over a sailing option? I have looked at both recently for runs from Pompano to the Bahamas. 🇧🇸
Shorter learning curve. Able to outrun storms. Get to destinations faster. Less likely to be hit by lightening. And we have no need for long ocean crossings. US to Bahamas and back is our route.
Here’s a thing I did with Leopard earlier this year that addresses this exact question and why we chose the 53. ruclips.net/video/MYxcoAvjFig/видео.htmlsi=Xcz_PpSyFxXayUKm
Great video! LOVE some Staniel Cay Yacht Club (especially dinner!!!)
Amen!!
Why do you cover thats guy info dont be a pussy and show for all to know of these thugs.
The title of this video is click bait. This video is Lame.
Ok. Thx for taking the time to reply, even if it’s negative.
Karen and Ken the whiner sounds more appropriate! Bruh thinks he owns the ocean and anyone else must be a "gang member" 😂😂😂
@@threedogcat It’s ok to use clickbait. It’s part of the game here. He’s just butthurt because you’re right about the jet skiers 😂
@johnqdoeII thx.
😎
Look into thunder coats for dogs......google it, Roxie is a candidate.
Most of the rude ones are probably new yorkers😊 Ask me how i know
lol.
Nope. Betya Florida.
Just started watching the channel today all the way from Saudi Arabia ,, lovely family and great editing and filming I’m sure once you get into the whole new situation you’ll make everyone happy and give us more great videos and amazing content 🙏🏻 enjoy you’re new adventure ,, we can’t wait to see more of it
Thx for watching
Thinking back to our UE days, I feel like I've taken a wrong path 😂. Now I'm wondering about chartering a jet ski so I could at least join that gang.
lololol
Brazilians. Say no more. No one likes the surfing world, so of course, they are obnoxious on a ski. I bet 'Ricardo' throws his cigarette in the water.
Well, at least you won't have an issue finding insurance (one would hope). Safe travels XD You should promote your company, Sorry not tryin' to tell you what to do. All the best
I’ve thought about that (advertising our businesses on here). Maybe someday.
I forwarded this to a representative of the Bahamas National Trust. Thank you for posting it!
Thus occurred in June 2023 (we tried to notify them then as well).
😂
😂
Seriously!!! Attacked!! Just trying to get views and you’re full of chit man!!! Get out of here with bs videos like this! You don’t own the water and they didn’t come over and be rude. They are allowed to enjoy the water same as you ! Get off your high horse seriously .
You're entitled to that opinion. Agree, attack is maybe a strong word, but they were absolutely incredibly rude, and we literally saw their grappling hook anchors being dropped in the reef. They are allowed to enjoy the water just like me, or anyone else, for sure. But also should be respectful of those around them as well, just like we all should be.
This video screams of entitlement. Not all of us can afford a fancy boat. Some of us are lucky to have our jet skis and be able to make the trip to the Bahamas is a dream. I've done it once myself with a large group. Not all jet skiers are terrible people. Yes, they should not have dropped anchor on the reef. But I imagine if you would have mentioned that there are mooring balls available I think you'd find that they are fairly reasonable people. Jet skiers are not the same as the Hell's Angels. Most of them, especially the ones that can make the trip to the Bahamas tend to be in their 40s or '50s. Even on a jet ski it's not a cheap trip.
I'm sorry you feel like we are acting entitled. We certainly don't think ALL jet ski folks are bad (in fact, we like to jet ski on occasion), but this situation WAS bad. We came across this group all summer and they were rude weather on the water or off, and we tried telling them multiple times about the reef (not to mention, you're in a protected park, so you kind of should already be aware of the rules ... including many shallow creeks that it is clearly posted NO JET SKI's, yet they continue to go back them anyway and full speed.
You both made good points. Don't worry be happy
Nicely produced! I mean the following in the most constructive way. I’d like to suggest avoiding hyperbolic titles. Were you “attacked” or “annoyed?” Were the jet skiers members of the “mafia” (organized crime), or were they simply in larger numbers than your party and anchoring with very poor technique and perhaps illegally? Anyway, your production values are very good!
Thanks for your input. How would you have titles this episode and thumbnail?
Oh how happy am I to have found your channel! Dogs, boats, and sweet people is the content I’m here for. ❤️
Ah. Glad you found us.
@ after watching your first video, we’re just up the road apiece just north of Venice. We came here with three dogs but lost one to old age. A Great Dane. 💔 Our current two are a Great Pyredane and a Cane Corso. Our little concrete house has been a champ through Ian, Debby, Helene & Milton. Grateful. Loving the positive content!🙏🏼Oh and I saw the tour of your boat on NautiStyles!😅
@@lisah933 Nautistyles is how we found the 53PC, and then was very surprised AFTER we purchased it to realize it was the EXACT boat they had toured (hull 2), I grew up with a Great Dane ... such gentle giants. Sorry for your loss!
I don’t think u know what attack means
Perhaps that word is a little strong.
Defo a liberal I’ll drive a boat and enjoy myself, but others shouldn’t because I don’t like Jetski’s and they are attacking us 😂😂😂😂
@MH-lr7hi watch the entire video. That’s not what I said. Everyone, even jet skis deserve the ocean, but we all (all) just need to be respectful of each other and the ocean and its treasures. Dropping anchors on reefs, speeding back tidal creeks and tossing cigarettes and trash anywhere you want (all of which I witnessed this group do), isn’t being a good steward of this resource nor respecting others so it can be there for all of us to share and enjoy. But sure, just resort to name calling. That’s easier.
@@MH-lr7hi I'm definitely not a liberal and those fucks were being asshats. If they are acting like that when people are there imagine the damage they cause when nobody is around. You don't throw an anchor on ANY coral reef...ever....period. You can also bet your ass they were throwing their butts into the water. You maintain a safe distance and share the space respectfully and everyone lives in peace. These are the type of riders that earned them the nickname sea flea and water parasite.
@@threedogcat The hyperbole is fine. It’s part of the game here. He’s just butthurt because you’re right about the jet skiers 😂
Sounds like you are the one who thinks you own the ocean. Disruptive behavior? Karen & Ken the Whiner family.
Hopefully not. We try to be really respectful of other boaters, especially with our three dogs. I’m sure we’ve failed at times though.
Exactly 💯
Obviously disruptive and disrespectful. You blind guy?
Obviously disruptive and disrespectful. Maybe you need to rewatch it guy?
Looks like those assholes were purposely trying to destroy the reef with anchors. 👎
I’m not sure. But certainly didn’t seem to care.
What do you do with the dog poop when you're on those islands?
Buried deep if it's possible, otherwise we pack it out.
Nobody wants to vacation with these jerks' dogs.
