Any good sealant you can expect a realistic 3-6 months of protection.

Two different products....the miraplate is like an all in one(polish and protection)however the Polyshield is a pure sealant and therefor its used as LSP(last stage product) or before topping with sacrificial Carnuba wax of your choice....Disclaimer I dont work for Shield,I am just a detailing hobbiest....happy detailing.

The word wax is reffered to generally for the consistancy a product has..."Wax" is a the last stage of paint detailing as this iss used to boost appearance of amd protect the paint against weathering elements...so to answer your question this is a type of wax but its not a natural wax like Carnuba...this is a paint sealant and generally lasts longer than stand alone carnuba wax..

Hi Ryan. No, the poly sealant is a complete standalone sealant, it is meant to do the following. Provide protection from chemicals, industrial fallout, UV rays. Provide an exceptional gloss and shine. Create a super slick surface so that dirt does not stay on the surface and when cleaning/washing you car, it is a quick exercise as you are not scrubbing the car. Showroom instant detailer has a completely different purpose. It can be used as lubrication when claying your car, also it has waterless functions meaning, you can use it to quickly clean off the a surface that bird droppings or any other fallout, so spot cleaning. But there is good news. 2000 years ago Jesus the Son of God came into this world and lived a perfect life ( He never sinned once), and out of God's love, He died on the cross taking the wrath that we deserve. He paid the penalty for the sins we committed. The bible says that if you will repent (confess and turn from your sins) and trust in what Christ did on the cross OUT OF HIS LOVE FOR YOU-(He took the wrath of God against you for your evil deeds and thoughts). Then all your sins will be forgiven and when you die you will be in heaven with God and all who have believed in The Gospel of Jesus Christ. This is the true Gospel of Jesus: Jesus died( Bore the punishment for your evil sins and heart, so that you can be forgiven. He took your special spot in Hell) and on the third day, He rose from the grave(So that you can have true life and His spot next to The Real God.). Right now you're dead in your sins and you need to trust in Christ, and then, all the things you hate about God like obeying him, serving Him, loving Him and others, reading the bible, praying, and going to church, you will love to do those things because God changes your heart. That's how you know you have been born again and forgiven. Please think long about this, and most importantly please take at least 5 minutes a day to read the Bible. Start in 'Matthew'. In Jesus you can be saved from an eternity in Hell, and enter into the loving arms of God who is infinitely glorious, has infinite knowledge, and has infinite power to do all that He pleases. Therefore turn from your sins and believe in Jesus Christ. If you will not turn from your sins and believe in Jesus Christ, then you will be sent to hell(as the Bible describes it, a place where the worms that will eat you, never die; and the fire that will burn you will never end, with weeping and gnashing of teeth) "And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Hi,just use a sealant or good quality car wax on the lights routinely after restoration has been done...there already wraps available to cover the lights but thats each to its own in terms of what a client would want...do the above it does work
