Excellent!!
Praying for Kathryn. She’s an actress. I pray for her salvation. What she’s doing is wicked. No Gospel message. And no one is getting healed or delivered. Wicked.
I'm praying with you and for Kathryn. -Dave
Amen! This teaching is so needed! Thank you!
Thank you for watching this episode of Warriors of Grace. God bless you! -Dave
Thank you guys so much for exposing this false doctrine I almost lost my life behind this doctrine I thank God for saving me from this deception
Great encouragement, Dave!
Thank you dear brother!
What an encouraging reminder! Thanks so much. Have a blessed weekend!
Thank you Kristen! God bless you too! -Dave
I was in a Word of Faith Church for 35 1/2 years from Sept. 1984 until July 2021...I don't have anything against the PEOPLE over there, but the Church's doctrine leaves a lot to be desired...I feel sort of like an escapee from some kind of spiritual prison...I go to a more Biblical Church now...I was just hoping that all of this "weird doctrine" would quit popping into my head...The Church I belong to now, has a prayer list that comes out every week...Sometimes this thought comes to me like: "Don't these people know that praying for something more than once is "lack of faith?" So, I have to try to dump a lot of false doctrine out of my head...I feel okay emotionally, but I feel a little"screwed" spiritually...I think I need prayer for this and my son and 2 sisters need to get saved...Also my Pastor's wife has cancer...Thanks for your prayers...❤⚓
Hi Caroline, Thank you for sharing this. I'm so glad you are in a more biblical church and out of the Word of Faith now. What you are describing is normal. You were indoctrinated for 35.5 years so it takes time to "unlearn" those truths and continue to grow in God's Word. Give yourself some grace. As you discover those things you mention study what the Word of God teaches about the topics you are processing. That will help you. Also, yes, I will keep you in my prayers. Thank you for sharing and I hope you find our content here helpful. -Dave
This was good and encouraging.
I'm so glad you found it encouraging and useful! -Dave
Very good.
Thank you for the encouragement and for watching Kim.
Thank you Pastor Dave , please pray for my soul . The only place I feel safe is in bed listening to Gods word and Christian videos . if I could sleep and not wake up I could be at peace maybe but only if I am properly saved .
Jessica, I'll be praying for you. Do you mind emailing me your concern about your statement about being saved please? My email is dave@servantsofgrace.org. I want to hear more about why you feel you aren't saved. Thank you. -Dave
Thank you Pastor Dave , please pray 🙏🏾 for my soul , thank you .
Praying for you Jessica.
I'm praying for you Jessica.
Thank you Pastor Dave .🙏🏾
Thank you both for your discernment and sharing your wisdom! May God give you strength to keep up the good work! 🙏🏻
Thank you for watching and for the encouragement Donna! All glory to God. I hope you have a wonderful day. -Dave
thank you for this clear conversation, very clarifying. Is the imagination of hearing Gods voice a counterfeit "prophetic" ?
I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed the conversation and found it to be very clarifying. I'm not really sure I understand your question. Do you mind restating it in another way or explaining what you mean please? If you would rather email me about this my email is dave@servantsofgrace.org -Dave

Thank you for talking about this! We used to go to a church where the pastor's wife recommended Hearing God by Dallas Willard and even gave people copies of the book. I knew it wasnt good but I had no idea the extent of his beliefs. People need this information and your channel is doing great work for God's glory.
Thank you so much for the encouragement Liz! I hope you've found a solid local church now. All glory to God. -Dave
@@Servantsofgrace You're welcome! Yes, we have and a lot of it is thanks to channels like yours😊
Fabulous. I love hearing that. Praise God!

God bless you, also, Elisabeth.
Once again, thank you, Dave and Marcia!

Thank you for this info, our church is just starting to teach this. I won’t be getting involved with that.
I'm very glad to hear you are going to avoid this in your church. I'll be praying with you on this also. -Dave
Another great/informative discussion! Thank you for sharing this :)
Thank you, sister for watching. God bless you dear sister.
Right on the money. 💪
What a great discussion, Dave! And how fun that you got to interview Ken Ham :)
Thank you, sister! It was a blast! I wish I had more time to interact and say more, but he only had thirty minutes to talk. It was a good conversation. Thank you for watching!
Excellent, excellent work, brother. Great breakdown of these teachings. Wonderfully laid out with care and research, quoting right out of their own mouths. I appreciate this greatly!!! Too many have been and are still being deceived by this. Took me almost 2 decades to break free. Almost lost my faith completely. But thank God I can see the truth. This touches my heart that you’re taking a stand and educating others. Thanks so much for the time you spend making these videos. They are needed greatly. God bless you, sir.
Thank you so much for this wonderful, God-glorifying and encouraging comment! I'm so thankful the Lord brought you out of this "movement" and into the truth of His Word and of His Son Jesus Christ. Glory to God alone! -Dave
Amen,I've recently taken charismatics to Ezekiel but to no avail!!😢😢😢😢 God bless all of you and never stop exposing all these pagan witches !!
Hey Dave, just want to say I enjoy your content and I've learned a lot listen to Faithful Men like yourself and I am glad that you're covering this topic because i believe the Charismatic Movement has severely damaged Biblical Christianity across the World. Doctrines like word of faith and etc caters to peoples fleshly desires and the so called Pastor that promote these doctrines make it almost impossible for those sitting in the pews to come out of these destructive doctrines. I pray the people who need to hear this come across this and are set free in Jesus name!
Thank you for that encouragement, Brother Foxx! I will join you in that prayer that people will come out of the Word of Faith and the New Apostolic Reformation and that more Christians will also join us in speaking out against these ungodly and heretical movements and come to the biblical Christ as revealed in the Word of God alone. Thank you for taking the time to leave this comment. -Dave
💯
Thank you for the encouragement! -Dave
Great episode. I was shocked to realize that despite knowing many theological terms, having a Biblical worldview, and reading the Bible every day (I'm currently reading through the Bible in 90 days)... When you mentioned that people can't name off all the disciples/commandments, I tried to go through the lists in my head and realized that I cannot either! Very surprised that I am lacking in such a basic area of Bible literacy. I printed myself off a list of both the disciples and commandments and will have them memorized shortly. Glad your episode pointed out this deficiency to me, and looking forward to the rest of this video series. Keep up the great work!
Thank you, dear sister. Your comment brings up a good point that needs to be emphasized more for every Christian (no matter our level of literacy) that we should all be humble and all be growing! I know there are times when I forget key aspects of biblical or theological truth. Nobody and I mean no one not even the greatest minds among us can know everything or remember everything. So, we must be humble. All that to say I commend you for recognizing where you need to grow and to actively work on that. That says a lot about your desire to grow and should be a model for everyone to follow. I know when there are areas I need to continue to grow and work on (and there are many still!) I need to keep reading and studying my Bible and to continue to study and read church history. All that to say, I commend you for your comment. Thank you for sharing and keep up the great work, sister. Thank you also for the encouragement and I hope you find this series helpful. -Dave
@@Servantsofgrace I totally agree! We all need to have a teachable spirit. We run into major problems when we start to think we know it all and have nothing left to learn. I definitely have certain topics that I find the most interesting and tend to spend the most time reading about (for me, that would be the topic of creation vs. evolution, and secondly, the growing influence of the new age in the church), but this video brings to my attention the need to not neglect the basics! I feel like I always come away with some new piece of valuable information from your videos. God bless you! :)
Yes! Thank you.
Thank you for watching Kim! Have a great day in the Lord, Kim! -Dave
Its always nice to see your lovey wife Sarah!💗 I lived in Idaho, too! I lived in Grandview, in the sticks. South of Boise, west of Mountain Home.
This is excellent teaching, thank you so much Dave!
This is very helpful. Thank you.
Thank you for the encouragement and for watching. -Dave
I received this book as a gift for the New Year. I got through about a week and couldn't take any more without a very uneasy feeling. At first, I attributed this to the fact that I really don't care for touch the heart-type devotionals. I prefer something meatier. My uneasiness was due to the fact that Sarah writes as if what she wants to say is out of Jesus' mouth. How presumptuous! Beyond that! The best part of the daily offerings are the scripture references at the bottom! Leave all the rest out. As she seems to write out of her experience as a counselor with emotionally needy women, I can see that many people would feel that Jesus is revealing his love to them, but she is treading on shaky ground here. I decided to search for any advice from Christian teachers I respect, and among them, I saw Doreen's name. Thank you for your confirmation that my spirit was troubled by the real Jesus!
Thank you for sharing your experience and that this video helped you to understand and discern the issues with Jesus Calling and Sarah Young. -Dave
Thanks for explaining Biblical tithing
Thank you for the encouragement! -Dave
😘
Good morning and thank you for this video, have a blessed Friday.
Good morning! Thank you so much! I hope you have a blessed Friday also!
A friend who is a new Christian gave me The Awe of God by Bevere. She read and believes the whole Left Behind series too. I don't know how to reach her, so I sent her a link to your RUclips. I hope and pray she watches.
Thank you for this comment! I'll join you in praying she watches and learns how to rightly interpret the Word of God. -Dave
That was excellent. Thank you
Thank you for watching!
Susan I am SO VERY sorry for the Loss of your son. This is the first I am hearing about this. Keeping you and your family in my prayers ❤️🙏🫂
Ty for sharing this ❤ I also wish there were more support for ppl who are grieving those that are still alive. Like parents who’s adult children have decided they no longer want a relationship with them. It’s REALLY hard to be around others especially at church and their families. Especially when those adult kids have completely abandoned their faith
Amazing presentation!
Thank you for watching and for the encouragement. All glory to God! -Dave
I appreciate your diligence and am enjoying your enthusiasm. I was trying to figure out a Bible reading plan when I came across your daily Bible reading in Deuteronomy. You’re doing a great job.!
Praise God! Thank you so much for those kind words. All glory to God. -Dave
I have picked up on some of their wrong doctrines and so stopped listening to them.
How do you answer Christians who say that the apostle's had a deliverance ministry and we are supposed to follow on from them ie: the Great Commission?
Thank you for your question. First off, there are not many instances at all where the Apostles performed deliverance in the New Testament like your question presupposes, and none of them are directed at Christians, so let's be clear about that. The One who performed "deliverance" was Jesus and it wasn't ever directed at Christians but non-Christians, i.e. those who hadn't repented and believed in Jesus Christ alone. The Christian cannot be inhabited by demons since they are saved by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone and indwelt by the Holy Spirit. So biblically and theologically the first half of your question isn't a possibility because what is meant by "Deliverance" today by the deliverance "ministers" is that Christians have demons. There is no biblical warrant or support for that position in light of what Jesus did in His ministry and what He taught, nor in the ministry of the Apostles. The Great Commission according to Jesus is to make disciples and teach them the Word of God. Deliverance in the sense advocated by "deliverance ministers" today actually subverts the gospel. It says that you need something else other than what Christ has provided in His death, burial, and resurrection. Since the person and work of Jesus is sufficient, nobody needs "deliverance" in that sense, especially Christians. "Deliverance ministers" are preaching another gospel which is no gospel and wouldn't be recognized by Jesus or the Apostles as messengers carrying forth the biblical gospel, since they never spoke in the terms that "deliverance ministers" do today. "Deliverance ministries" follow Derek Prince's teaching that says that Christians can surrender "legal rights" and in some way give the devil "a foothold" but that verse in Ephesians 4:26 has nothing to do with giving Satan a foothold, nor does the context of that passage warrant the interpretation offered by "deliverance ministries". The context of Ephesians 4 are commands (imperatives) related to the life of the Christian and the Church, so the context alone undermines the interpretation advanced by Derek Prince, among others. There's another verse in the Lord's Prayer in Matthew 6:14-15 that is used to teach the "legal rights" theory, but these verses have nothing to do with what "deliverance ministries" are teaching. Jesus is not teaching that we surrender legal rights when we don't forgive. The disciples asked Jesus to teach them to pray. The context argues against the legal rights view because Jesus is teaching His own about communion with Himself. The forgiveness Christ offers is not conditional it is grounded in His person and sufficient work. What Jesus is talking about here in Matthew 6:14-15 is about how if we don't forgive our fellowship (not our security) can be interrupted. So, this is quite the opposite of what the "deliverance ministries" teach. Further at no time do the "Deliverance ministries" engage in any meaningful or recognized standard of biblical interpretation. They rip biblical texts out of context, they preach a false gospel, which is no gospel at all, and do not offer real help to people. They are regularly accused of spiritual abuse, of proof texting, and so much more. I have heard so many stories of spiritual abuse among those who practice deliverance ministry. Why? Because they do not preach the gospel and do not preach the whole counsel of God. Jesus came in Luke 4 preaching good news and glad tidings in fulfillment of Isaiah 61. The good news of Jesus death, burial, and resurrection is enough for the non-Christian to get saved through repentance and faith in Christ alone. It is enough to hold fast the Christian, to grow them in grace, and to lead them safely home to heaven. Indwelt by the Spirit, the Christian can never by demon possessed since they are united to the Creator who made them, the Redeemer who saved, them, and the King who rules over all as Alpha and Omega, the Prince of Peace, and the Lord our Righteousness. He alone is enough and always will be to lead His own safely home to heaven. I can go on and on about these matters and have extensively with Dawn Hill, Doreen, and Jim Osman. Here is a video that Dawn Hill and I did that explains more about these ideas: ruclips.net/video/sC9iCtyHEVA/видео.html Here is a whole list of resources that we have produced as a ministry: servantsofgrace.org/why-jesus-cast-out-demons/ servantsofgrace.org/satan-demons-and-the-christian/ servantsofgrace.org/legal-rights-and-the-modern-deliverance-ministry/ servantsofgrace.org/exposing-the-truth-about-deliverance-ministry/ servantsofgrace.org/exposing-the-truth-about-deliverance-ministry/ servantsofgrace.org/biblical-critique-of-deliverance-ministries-a-comprehensive-analysis/ servantsofgrace.org/unraveling-nar-and-modern-day-deliverance-with-jim-osman/ servantsofgrace.org/challenging-modern-deliverance-practices-a-christians-call/ servantsofgrace.org/why-true-deliverance-ministry-is-greater-than-modern-deliverance-ministry/ servantsofgrace.org/demon-possession-and-conversion-oppressed-not-possessed/ servantsofgrace.org/spiritual-warfare-and-the-dangers-of-the-modern-day-deliverance-ministries-2/ -Dave

Thank you so much for that encouragement, Elaine. The Lord is so good to us His beloved! I hope you have a great evening! -Dave
I love the MacArthur Study Bible, too! So good! I’d love it if the two of you addressed spiritual abuse in the church. I think some of it comes from elders not knowing how to properly counsel.
Thank you! I'll put this on my list of topics to potentially talk about in the future with Ernie. For now, though, Dawn and I did an episode on Contending for the Word on spiritual abuse that you can watch: ruclips.net/video/ITpp118Iyhk/видео.html
@ Yes, I watched that one already. It was very informative! My family and I have recently experienced DARVO at the hands of the elders and teaching pastor of a reformed church because we refused to “submit” to being slandered and defrauded by a wealthy member of the church who refused to pay for our son’s (who was a minor at the time) injuries and lost wages when he was severely injured working for him. He was unable to work for 8 months due to the injury. The member committed a crime by not carrying Worker’s Comp Insurance on his employees. He asked us if we would not turn him in since he’s a Christian and we went to the same church. He told us in writing he would pay us directly instead. That request is also a crime in our state. When he quit paying after 2 months and refused to speak with us, we took it to the elders. We later found out that they are in the same community group and are all good friends. We also found out months into trying to work things out through these elders, who told us we couldn’t speak with the member and refused our numerous requests to meet with the elders and the member together, nor were we allowed to become members to have another elder as a representative on our behalf. After over a year of no resolution, we found out that from the start this member was telling others that our son lied about being injured on the job even though we have an eyewitness, and that we were blackmailing him. Finally, the elders told us that they had made a decision and that we needed to accept to being wronged and defrauded and to apologize to the member for causing him stress so that we can be reconciled for the sake of church unity. If we did not choose this one and only option, we would be outside of their authority and it was intimated that we would be asked to leave the church. We requested again for all of us to meet together. They did not respond for 2 months. When we finally got a response, it was quite a coincidence that the member had moved out of the state 2 weeks prior to their response, so we couldn’t ever meet with them! We just couldn’t agree to lie to save the reputation of this member, so chose to leave the church that we thought was going to be our forever church. Our appeals to the teaching pastor fell on deaf ears and he refused to see us. He recently preached on I Cor 6 and based on the examples he gave it was clear that he was referring to us without saying our name. We are still trying to find another church but I think we have “church PTSD”! The thought of getting counseling is very difficult because we have some severe trust issues now. This situation was a classic case of DARVO! We feel like we’re in limbo….not healed enough to open ourselves up to another church, but missing the church fellowship. Most of our close friends still attend the church we left, so we’re obviously not part of that group anymore, even though they agreed that it was clearly spiritual abuse. In one year’s time, we lost fellowship, church, ministries, our son’s health, and thousands of $$. Regardless of all that, we still believe we did all we could, but reconciliation and church unity cannot ultimately stand when the foundation is built upon a lie. We felt strongly that regardless of the outcome, we couldn’t accept lies and coverups and model that for our children for the sake of church unity. We know that our Lord can turn this into something good, we just have to be patient.
I'm glad you found that episode with Dawn helpful. I am so sorry you experienced this. I've also had a similar (but different experience in a Reformed Baptist Church (not naming the state I was in at the time). It wasn't to the level you experienced but it was because the elders were not acting biblically. Instead they had a "good old boys club" as I call it where they approve of whatever they want and don't seek out the facts like they should. I'm sincerely sorry for what you experienced. I'll also be praying for you. I just looked at my schedule for March and I do have an opening in our Church series on Equipping You in Grace for March to talk about what you are talking about in this comment. Having Dr. Baker on would also be good because he has done a lot of work along with the Association of Biblical Counselors on the topic of abuse. It is an under talked about topic in the Church sadly and many are left in the shadows. I've continued to talk about it because I've experienced it personally in the Church and in my role at Servants of Grace with other pastors and ministry leaders. It is sad. I'll keep praying for you and appreciate you sharing your story. I hope it will help others who read it. -Dave
@@ServantsofgraceThank you for your kind response. I’m truly sorry that you’ve also gone through something similar. I think you’re absolutely correct in your assessment of a good old boys club in operation. A family came in about 6 years ago and the father and all 3 sons are now on staff and control much of what goes on in the church, including keeping people in the church from accessing the lead pastor so he can devote his time mainly to teaching. So, yes, it has that feel to it. I hope my experience can help someone…at the very least to let them know they’re not alone in this. Thank you for your prayers and your online ministry. You’ve had 3 of my favorites on….Doreen Virtue, Dawn Hill, and Susan Heck! Thank you for your prayers!
Thank you for your words. I'm so sorry to hear this about this church. It makes me so sad that others have these experiences when God's Word is so clear on how elders are to function biblically. I'm sure it will! It's always good to know that we aren't alone so thank you for sharing! Thank you for those encouraging words. I've been friends with Doreen about four years. Dawn about two and a half. Susan Heck about two years now. They are all great ladies. Doreen and Dawn are on the team at Contending for the Word along with Michelle Lesley, Amy Spreeman, Justin Peters, and some others also.
As a young adult myself who goes to a more traditional church and attended a Passion Camp this past summer, it is what you imagine it to be. You do not get the impression that it is a genuine event. It all feels fake and wrong, it saddened me so much. It was hard to tell if someone’s motives were true or not because of how on command and juiced up everything was (an emotional pull as you were saying). People were more focused on BEING SEEN and one upping one another so they would have the chance to be projected on the big screen in front of everybody . It was a cliquey event for sure.
I recently subscribed to JB’s Channel. BUT Something in my spirit didn’t settle well, I personally get so turned off when they ask for money 💰 or want to run a business out of it . I try to ignore that feeling because I love listening to sermons, podcast , teachings etc . However, I never invest my money into it . With all the false teachings being exposed, I began praying on discernment to the HS to show me who’s not worth of my ears 👂. I also believe that if I’am going to READ anything should be the Bible . And let the HS interpret. Today this video shows up on my feed. Is it coincidence? Or Algorithm? Sometimes I cant help to wonder if the whole internet is of the devil and we are all under a spell !! Because with this kind of information it brakes my heart also to see how much the body of Christ is being divided. 😢 💔. I’m going to unsubscribe from his channel. Thank you for exposing the evil . Stay vigilant! Jesus is coming soon . ✝️
Another helpful episode!🤔 Thank you Dave… always look forward to your videos.💕 (today I played at 85% since I had a sleepless night😵💫 it was helpful!) lol 🙃🙋♀️
Thank you so much Elaine for watching and the encouragement! I'm sorry you had a sleepless night! Praying you have a wonderful day in the Lord! -Dave
Hiya, new viewer to your channel, I have a question about Victory Church Tulsa, do they preach false doctrine there?
Welcome to Servants of Grace! If you mean this church: www.victory.com/ then yes, they preach false doctrine there. They are Word of Faith, have woman pastors, host people like Steven Furtick, and more.
Love Michelle
