KOPESHOW EP. 7 LYNGEN ALPS - FIRST DESCENT, NE RAMP OF JIEHKKEVARRI
After trying this line two years ago and having to turn back, it has been in the back of my mind since then.
@EivindAanensen & @SalsaSauss skied the north east couloir some weeks earlier and had good fotos off the line. And after some new snow we decided to give it a try.
It couldn't have been better conditions, it all came together and we had the best time riding this line. Thanks boys!

KOPESHOW EP.6 LYNGEN ALPS - FIRST DESCENT, SW FACE OF HOLMBUKTTINDEN.
Просмотров 11 тыс.5 месяцев назад
Back up north in the Lyngen Alps, and the conditions are really good at the time. So Eivind Aanensen and I decided to check out a line we have been looking at for some time. Even tho its not a snowy year up high in Lyngen, we still managed to ride the line and I think in the future, it might be a classic steep ski line. KOPESHOW EP.5 CHAMONIX - THE MOST EXPOSED LINE I'VE EVER DONE
Просмотров 54 тыс.7 месяцев назад
The line is called Voie Fontaine and its a climbing route, it was first skied by Rémy lé cluse and emmanuel ratouis on the 7th of may 1998. And since then it has been repeated less than 5 times. Skiing these big lines is a whole new world for me and the experience Leo and the other people of Chamonix have is just mind blowing! Thanks to Leo for taking me on this wild adventure! le...
KOPESHOW EP.4 CHAMONIX - GLACIER ROND, COSMIQUES COULOIR. VERY DEEP, VERY DANGEROUS AND VERY GOOD
Просмотров 20 тыс.8 месяцев назад
This day I went out with the local legends Gaspard Ravanel and Nico Borgeot, we skied the classic Glacier Rond and Cosmiques couloir. We skied it two days after a storm and the snow hadn't got enough time to stabilize, so there was a bit touchy some places. KOPESHOW EP 3. Aiguille de l'Encrenaz NE Death Ramp
Просмотров 171 тыс.8 месяцев назад
Scoped the line when we rode the north face of Aiguille De Mesure and went back to try it with Tom Grant. Did a variation of the normal couloir to get fresh tracks, and it was STEEP! The ramp was mind-blowing with all the exposure, and the snow was perfect! Instagram: @kriskopa @tom_grant_
KOPESHOW EP.2 - AIGUILLE DE LA MESURE NORTH FACE
Просмотров 17 тыс.9 месяцев назад
I met Leo the day before and he told me about a steep exposed north face that he wanted to ski. So the next day we went to check out the north face of Aiguille De La Mesure. On the way we met with a couple of friends of Leo and they also joined.

Any clue when we can expect to see those cool yellow disruptives😍?
Sorry kris, men... er dette boarding😊? Ser mer ut som fjellklatring med brett. Som i min verden virker litt upraktisk😂❤️
I’m a bit confused as to why you kept your board for this section, but hell yeah man
She gonna die guys💀
What a line! Well done guys 🙌🏼
Bro i live in that valley
Awesome and informative video thanks for it!! I've been splitboarding for +/- a decade, on softboots until now, and same as you my ankles are starting to give out. This setup looks sweet, but is it possible to lock down the heel when you're in tour mode? Doesn't need to be bomber, but sometimes it's nice to ski short/ easy descents without needing to fully transition.
was this recent? snow looks so good for this time of year (at least with how the snowpack warms up where I am in May). damn 2600 vert and ur going out for another big line the day after.... i think after 1000m the day after 2600m my legs would go on strike :D
what the.....:!!!!
A good warmup boys! Looking forward to see more videos of you progressing to steeper and less comforting terrain. Ride on!
O oh, my god
Bruh i live thr
fuckin epic line. stay safe dude. exposure ain't a good thing lol
Rått at det gikk!
Love it !!
Holy steepness before the rappel 🤯 that light is so flat, it is probably even steeper than it looks! Well played boys! 🔥
Sick!!!
Something like that on my skis is a touch nervy but I could handle it, on my board? Nah, tiny little bobble, there is only 1 edge and if it slips, goodbye.
the only snowboarder I enjoy watching ! sick
Beautiful!
6:17 is ridiculous
I would shit my pants
Nice man, looks safe, keep it
Ooh noice snow! (and some good riding lol)
Catching such conditions probably the hardest thing, bravo guys!
RIding and filming is good, but It is difficult for me to understand what is going on. It requires more comments, especially for that moments where you descend careful. I think it must be obvious to scary me.
Thanks for feedback 🙏
🌶️🔥
Yeah buddy! What a day
Yeah buddeeey
See any Wolverines on your adventures ? We see them in the craziest of alpine locations in AK. You guys are manimals yourself!! Love the edits.
@@johnward654 Wow, never seen more than one on an outing at a time. Nice work on the ramp!
Hehe no wolverines in that area🙏
@@kriskopa Oh I get it, ha!
KopeShow!!
Cool
What boots are the yellow ones that I see on your instagram videos? And the floorboard edge doesn’t get you trouble on icy traverses while skinning up? Thank you very much 👌
Yoo! Its the disruptives, but im trying next years plastic 🙏 No, I have never had any issues with the floorboard tech, not on icey traversers or breaking them🙏
Wtf guys 😅
This is fake….. you can’t butter in hardboots?! 😋😝
Insaneeeee
That looks like reverse alpinism for me
What boots??
Wondering the same, I thought he was riding the Disruptives
Yoo! Its the disruptivs from key, but im trying next years plastic🤫🙏
Nice thanks for the reply! I'm getting a pair next season, finally
Any idea when we can expect to see those released? This year?
Wtf is this guy doing.👀🤌😳😳😳
Syk video!
do you end up leaving all the anchors up there?
Yes🙏
Underrated
Nice backyard! 🔥 some of those rock cracks are making me nervous 😮 #kopeshowrocks 👍
🌶️
Great video as always. Glad to see you ab on at least two anchors.
Yesss kopeman is back! Thanks for a great adventure 🥳
Tiene huevos! I love to ski, however the mountaineering freaks me out. Stay safe as I love your vlogs.
Insane
Quite the adventure! Only knifeblades and nuts for the rappels? 🔥
Wow what an insane line. I admire your expertise! Keep it up!
How do you retrieve the rope after rappelling?
so they cut the rope and leave the piton up there, or do they rappel with half the rope and only leave the piton?@@johnward654
They leave the cordelette, knife blades and nuts. They pull the rope through by pulling on one end.
@@johnward654 you literally see him coiling it after repelling
👏👏👏
So clean
