I feel like RE 1 Remake (2026) is going to be the last REMAKE that they make. So they will make it a slow pace, and a bit longer gameplay like RE2 and RE4. We already got 2,3 and even 4.. so RE Zero isnt really necessary

Re0 I want that to get a remake the most. One of the things they could fix is how it never made sense that the leechs never did the swarming to kill Rebecca and Billy like they did everyone else. Which is they discover by sprinkling salt on their bodies, prevents them from infecting you with a full bite. but they can only do regular damage, but can’t get a full infectious bite on you. . so you could have waves of leeches hit you like a water wave and if you have salt on you don’t die instantly. And every time the individual leeches or the mimic leeches or the wave of leeches hit you some amount of salt comes off your body, so you need to try to find some more and reapply it..

RE 0 was so bad I definitely wouldn't want that to be next but as like a preorder bonus for RE1 or make a RE1 and 0 in one game

You´re right about that especially for the lurker frog enemy in that game we need a remake, I wanna read some comments gain about people complaining how hard that enemy is when it grabs you :D They just don´t have no clue it seems that the only way avoising it is running towrds the enemy to not get grabbed by that tongue

Big agree with that title. 0 is one of the only RE titles I never bothered to go back and replay cause I thought it was a mess but I'd give it a second chance if they remade it. When they do get around to making another RE1 remake (honestly don't think it needs one cause the original remake holds up so well but you know it's gonna happen sooner or later) they should just bundle it with a remake of 0. It's not an action-oriented like Revelations or 5 either but I think they could make co-op work in a 0 remake. Definitely need a CV remake too.

Broooo! You are a REAL ONE for this! Hell yeah, I absolutely loved Billy and Mandy as a kid, it was literally my favorite Cartoon Network show so I had to buy this game when it dropped. I remember liking it enough but that mission mode, Lord Have Mercy.. That mission mode, when you get to the last 2 fights, yeah. That gave me gray hairs as a 9 year old lmao.

RE2R was a surreal experience my first playthrough. My first RE was 5 and I went back thru the series back in the day and 2 always stuck out to me the most. Its crazy how 1:1 the whole game is but in HD.

great video! for me I got into RE games with the original ps1 RE2. I was WAY too young to be playing it, but because I had been scared away from playing RE1 after watching my older brothers play it a few years prior, I felt RE2 was my chance to redeem myself. however I didnt even know Mr. X existed since we had lost our memory card by then, so I just played Claire A and Leon A without saving. which explains why it took me years to beat the game ahah. I do wish the A and B diferences were as pronounced as in the original, there the story would vary quite a bit from A to B and the bosses would be different, some of them wouldn't be there, some weapons and upgrades if you got them in A scenario they wouldnt be there for the B scenario, that sort of stuff. if I were to suggest another RE game for you to play after RE3 I would say try out RE4, both the original and the remake, as I think the original RE4 is easier to get into than the ps1 RE games for new players. and even the OG RE2 I feel you'd appreciate playing, for the comparison with the remake since that one is the one that got you into the series. Also eventually ya gotta play RE7, its definetly the scariest of the series imo

Literally just played re3 remake last Saturday lol. Games fun but way too short. Managed to finish the game in one day (8 ish hours to be exact and 6 hours in game time). Granted I only did that just so I could play resident evil 4 remake within the same day. Carlos punch mechanic still confuses me, nemesis didn’t give me as much pstd as mr.X did, and a few other things but besides that, the game was fun. Just not as good as re 2 and 4 remake (still playing 4 but I’m having much more fun with it and I just got to the Salazar castle).

Very disappointing game. Short length, removed the replay value of the choice mechanic, cut areas, more linear environments, scaled back Nemesis, etc. The worst part is this is the remake we’re stuck with. It’s not like they’re going to remake the remake anytime soon.

I do think RE 3 Remake is great for newcomers that have never played and RE game before. Its short and has all the basics RE games are known to have. Its good in that aspect I feel and thats a nice level of accessibility.

Good stuff about the 3 remake - Remakes Intro level makes a bit more sense since you start in a apartment rather than exploding out of some house in the original. - 3 Remake has the best version of Carlos in my eyes and Mikael was cool too, was sad to see him killed off. - Character interactions were really good, felt like a cool RE Movie to me. - New area was added that was the cool bug nest area. - Hunter designs was incredible and felt more like a failed mutated creature. - Flamethrower Nemesis was awesome fighting against. Everything else is a near unforgiving screw up. They toned down and removed so much from original in the this remake to the point its barely recognizable as RE 3. Adding the clocktower alone means nothing adding to the remake since the other 80% of the game is gone. This is the only game remake I have ever played where I 100% think they have to remake the game all over again, its on that scale of bad as a remake. How they messed on a level like this is incredible.

There's nothing wrong with what was in the game. The problem was all the stuff that wasn't. One meaty piece of DLC could turn this into a crowd pleaser.

I remember getting the game during lockdown and struggling to get it to work, so my mum and dad spent 5 minutes trying to figure out how to get the game to run on my dad’s Xbox 1. Once it was running and the intro cutscene started playing, my mum and dad turned to each other and my mum said something along the lines of “that’s way to close to real life right now” 😬😂

I will always harp on and on about how disappointing this game is. Because we're basically screwed for another 7-9 years until they remake it again (hopefully?). And dont get me wrong, I love campcom. I love all the other remakes. But OG 3 was my favorite as a kid. The replayability was due to the multiple choice sections that would lead to different paths, different enemies even different endings. Nemesis was unpredictable, actually scary. The SCORE has stayed with me for over 20 years. Best of all IMO was the racoon city map. Completely lost in the remake. A tiny fraction of the city map is what we got and we only get about 20 minutes to roam it. Besides that, where do i start? The gas station, the park, the worm, the clock tower, the water treatment plant (nest sucks its a bright hallway). And nemesis isn't a dog for f's sake. Almost no unlockable costumes. I'm forgetting so much, but my point is that the original is one of the best entries in the series. It deserves better. We love it more than these devs do. Thats the truth. And I love campcom but we really gotta get this one corrected in the future.

These motherfuckers fucked up everything in Re3R, they didnt even add the Barry Easteregg ending. Re3R cut more than it actually added, fucking unreal. Lets not even forget they cut the iconic Mercenaries mode, they didnt even fucking BOTHER to add it as a DLC.

It's refreshing to see someone else who likes the game who is willing to be critical of some of the flaws. Good stuff my dude. Also, yeah...final Nemmy on Inferno sucks donkey ass the first time. If you haven't mastered the dodge by then you just get clapped for 9 hours straight. Here's my take. Unintuitive, unwelcome, and poorly implemented QTEs... Long, unskippable sections of inconsequential gameplay in the intro... Bland, painfully linear level design... Completely underutilized, almost entirely sidelined stalker enemy. There's a reason the game is just called Resident Evil 3, and not Resident Evil 3: Nemesis... One of the only good aspects of gameplay is the dodge mechanic, but unfortunately it completely breaks the game. With even a basic, rudimentary understanding of the dodge you will not be challenged in the slightest without playing on the the hardest difficulty (Inferno btw, Hardcore is hilariously easy). With no external references, RE3R fails on its own merits. And I still liked a lot about it, but it is a bad game. However with the consideration of the franchise as a whole: The dodge mechanic is too powerful and really needs some sort of internal cooldown, or as much as I hate the idea on paper, some sort of stamina or resource. Being able to infinitely perfect dodge completely breaks the game. If it was more limited, then they could've brought in the sub weapons from RE2R to balance it out and add a deeper layer of strategy to the inventory management because as the game stands, you are almost never truly tested or limited by the inventory management. They should've also added the random health values for zombies from RE2R. By the end of my very first playthrough on Hardcore I had enough ammo in my box to kill every enemy in the entire franchise. It is crazy how many resources this game throws at you, but it could've been balanced if the enemies (zombies at least) had random health values and posed more of a threat. The game is so linear that I don't think they needed to include ink ribbons but it would've been nice to at least have them on the harder difficulties. I like your idea of pseudo-open world. Like what if they treated Raccoon City the way they did the Village in RE8? That would've legitimately been cool. I haven't heard that idea from anyone else before. That would've been so sick. Liked and subbed bro, keep it up! Also... do a Parasite Eve video. I see it sittin in the background. I'm here for it.
