The Squamish 23/50K and 50 mile races take place in mid-August in Squamish, BC-the outdoor adventure capital of Canada. Steep climbs, lush coastal forests, and technical descents are the key features of these races. I did the 23 km race today. Not sure what to expect after a month of knee problems, but got ‘er done!

The Xterra Victoria 5K/10K/15K Trail Run takes place in the first weekend of July in the Durrance Lake/Partridge Hills area near Victoria, BC, Canada. The race is known for beautiful scenery and its technical and challenging terrain, featuring a rough, rocky, and relentlessly steep hill known as “The Beast”. The Cal Revelle Nature Sanctuary is a small wooded area next to Gowlland Tod Park in the Highlands area near Victoria, BC, Canada.
