With the 2024.1 release, all Inspire users will have access to this feature, as long as they have an Altair Inspire License with enough qualifying units to utilize Altair Inspire Fluids (30 units), for further information check out the 2024.1 what’s new pdf: (2024.help.altair.com/2024.1/inspire/en_us/topics/inspire/release_notes/whats_new_in_inspire_c.htm)

When I combine an implicit lattice part and a body part like 33:50 my structure analyze gives an error "No Valid Geometry - Analaysis requires at least one part with solid or surface geometry to run.". How can I solve this problem.

Hi! that download can be found in the Altair One Portal as well. You can search for it on the left hand side panel at the top, or scroll until you find the OptiStruct card in the Marketplace. Hope that helps!

hi, in Inspire Cast I get "Mesh Failded" error, it's caused by small gaps in the model. So what should I do to fill these gaps in Inspire Cast
Thanks so much for your question, in Inspire Cast there is a dedicated geometry editing menu. To resolve gaps utilize the push and pull command and extend surfaces to close gaps. You can also create sketches and extrusions, but my typical approach is to utilize the push and pull command to resolve these gaps. Is it possible to demonstrate batchmeshing by sending it to Simlab (tcl or Python script) and then reimporting the mesh back into Hypermesh? This could accomplish two time saving steps at the same time, namely meshing with great control and using Simlab's quality criteria to minimize individual element and node manipulation. I think there used to be a method to do this several years ago but I don't see a reference to it now.

Hi expert, sorry to bother you when I have a question to ask. I am doing simulation with polypropylene material in optistruct (Hyperworks). So to assign this material in optistruct I need to choose what kind of material (MATX33, MATX42,...). Thank you.
Hi! Thanks for the question. So it depends on the material properties of the polypropylene. 1.) My assumption is if its modeled as an isotropic elastic-plastic material. Then law 36 should be utilized. 2.) However, sometimes polyprop can be considered as an elastomer which in this case it should be modeled as law 42. Note law 42 is OGDEN and for elastomers, foams, and rubbers. Note it will depend on the polypropylene, some of them are blended to have elastomeric properties. If it is not blended and not classified as an elastomer, I would utilize Law 36. If you have further questions, please email info@trueinsight.io and we can contact you directly. Thanks.
