Just practice. Adding 10lbs of ankle weight for my 210lb butt. Still need to do a hang test for CG.

This makes my second practice 3rd hover. I mixed 20:1 oil ratio as per the builder advice me to. I believe it is to much though.

It’s is a kit. It’s also not in production anymore because of the demand of the mosquito XL and XT models. Composite Fx or story aviation sell them kits. Could reach out to them and see if there is a dealer in your area. They are awesome folks. But there is still quite a few of these flying now and parts are easy to get. Just google mosquito air. That is my model. 👍

Thank you for the response, do you have the Hirth engine with bing carburetors? Did you have prior experience flying, take lessons or do you have a simulator?
Also any reason why you’ve only clocked a dozen hours?
@@larryworkaholic8925 I bought it with the hirth already built . Had like 9hrs on it. Only reason I can think of is just about lost the nerve. Lol. Great machine though. I taught myself in a mini 500. Sold it and bought this one. Many hrs learning and 1 lesson after I already could hover the mini 500. Sim with a heli chair too. Just for muscle memory.

Barn stormers. Good place . Also search FB. Great little aircraft. I’ve only hovered this one around. But used to live it . Now I just go out to the shop and rub on it and keep it clean. Havnt flew in a year or so.

Seems like it has to wind up too high? As in rpm’s. Is it geared wrong? Or is it normal? I wouldn’t think you would want it running that fast all the time.

It's very neat, and well-made. However, I would seriously consider using something other that Electrical Ties - which hold the Bowden Cable for the Tail Rotor. I have seen too many of these Electrical Ties fail, due to NO UV Protection. There's gotta be a better way, honestly, and I don't mean to be a Keyboard Critic, just thinking about your well-being that's all.
