what up dude?
It should be remembered that what is now referred to as the Goddard Caddis was originally called the G and H Sedge. Named after the originators of the pattern, John Goddard and Cliff Henry.
had mine for 9-10 years. best vise ever. tied 10s of thousands of flies on it. muskie flies to midges. standard jaws. fantastic customer service
TOO SHORT 😱😱 more please !!!!! LOVE this vise…you just sold one, thanks !! L 👍🎣👍
Damn! I was enjoying that when the film just cut off.
What dose it cost ?
Great vise ! You won't be disappointed.
I got a Dyana King Barracuda I don't use it all that much. I id a bass bug out of deer hair. Took the hook out of the vise and the barb was broken!. I went back to my Renzetti.
Operator error. Pure and simple.
the best is Renzetti Master
the Best is Renzetti Master...fool?
Altex lan the Best is that u shut up.... Tard
Yep
The hackle is superfluous.
phew! $550. maybe one day.
$630 now, it's not getting cheaper. For those with more money than they know what to do with.
I've had mine for over a month now and have been very pleased. The people who say the jaws don't hold a hook aren't securing it properly or with enough force. I own a Professional and this Ultimate Indexer. Ive been very pleased with both Dyna-King products and their sales team. I spoke with them on two occasions when buying accessories. They've been very helpful and patient with me as I ask quite a few questions. While this vise is expensive, I was able to find one at the same price as a standard Barracuda vise. I had planned on ordering that vise but lucked into this one. I've had no trouble with it at all and have truly enjoyed tying on it even though I don't use all its bells and whistles. For those that may be curious if you can spin deer hair without having the stem's pivot point move during the process, I am happy to report it holds very nicely once you secure it properly. It still moves by hand and isn't locked down but is strong enough not to budge when spinning deer hair. I can't say enough about Dyna-King. Their quality sold me as well as their standard jaw's hook range of 8/0-22. Their midge jaws have a hook range of 10-32 and are easy to swap in and out of desired. This was a selling point for me as I previously had a vise that required tools to swap jaws. American made, built like a Cold War tank and a company who cares about your customer experience. Can't beat it in my opinion....regardless your price point or model, it's worth every penny.
I have had mine a while now and i totally agree
Please teach me how to use mine!!!
Can you tell me more about the professional sir please, does it lock in multiples positions? And, what are your use if I may say for both vises? Regards
The professional that I have does NOT lock into any particular rotary type position. You don’t need it to do so. Very comfortable vise to use.
@@peregrinusabsoluti2302 If I had to pick between the ultimate indexer/barracuda or. Professional - I’d choose the professional. They both can tie the same type of flies. One has rotary function but you don’t really need it. The professional is one of the most comfortable vises to use. When the vertical is pitched up at 30-45 degrees it makes a great hand rest enabling you to get your hand closer to the fly to hold materials in place or pull materials to the rear of the fly as you layer on hackle etc. With two jaws you can tie the entire range of flies from the biggest salt water flies to the tiniest trout flies (8/0-36). I have several thing vises. The Professional ranks somewhere in the top 3 favorites while the indexer is actually toward the middle to bottom of the list. Vises I like a lot: Dyna-King Professional Renzetti 4000 Regal Medallion with pocket base and different heads. I have a standard, stainless and shank head for the regal. Each of these vises allows me to get my hand in close to hold materials comfortably.
What happened to the rest of the fly-tying video. This is a very informative video but why frustrate by not finishing. Thinking about buying the vise but concerned that I might get just half of the equipment.
Why don't any of your videos go to the end ?
Dyna-King. Hopefully one day for me-either the trekker or maybe the barracuda!!
I just got a dyna-king. Not sure how to use the bobbin holder tool
Best vice ever made,hands down!
I have one and have used it for 3 years,i have tried a good few vices but NONE come even close to this.Superb!!
It is the G&H Caddis Roy, the G stands for Goddard
Se ve que es de gran calidad. ¿ cuanto Vale ?
that looks just like a G&H Sedge
bad quality, overpriced, looks bad. Nice commercial video but noooo need
Guenounovitch This is one of the best handcrafted American made vises on the market. It's built to outlast you and be worthy to pass down to your kids and grandkids. Seriously it is one of the best vises on the planet. You sound like a rep for a different company. ;-)
you were a moron 8 years ago. i'm sure you still are.
Nope closer to five..
around 300 bucks
How much is it?
I reaaaaally don't see the point of uploading an imcomplete video. Dear youtube surfer, don't waste your time on this one :P
Hi pisaqW. This is a unique fly fishing on the chubs. I tried many times and it succeeds. Respect from Georgia
It looks very easy in Your hands, sir. Is this fly any good when fishing for chubb? Greetings from Poland
Perfect fly! Thank you for sharing! The idea with the yarn works really well! Best, Kostis
