7:11 This is my guess as well. The Everforge must have been out of order for a very long time, and the Hunter and research team must assist them in activating it again. But then the forge overheats and ends up causing massive changes to the environment, which may also be directly responsible for the Black Flame appearing. The Black Flame must be a very seldom-seen monster that inhabits only the deepest parts of the basin, where it’s naturally volcanic. But the activity of the Everforge produces so much heat, it’s lured up to the surface in search of new feeding grounds.

The Black Flame appears to have 6 major tentacles and 2 smaller ones that make a moustache that helps it eat, so that’s 8 total

Hoping we get at least 4 locales and then 1 locale they don't show like World. Supposed to be more monsters than Base World, so looking probably at 32-36 is my guess. Game is going to be insane.

MHRise/Sunbreak adds incredible power and mobility to the hunter's tool kit which makes the early game feel incredibly easy and short for a lot of people. The mid-late game get VERY challenging though and it's almost comical how fast it goes from cakewalk to massacre. The game just gets better the more you play but also it might be the most grind-heavy game in the series Some of the major bonuses of rise I would say are: - A huge amount of unique playstyles and customization in your build - Monsters move faster than ever before and many are an upgrade to world in how aggressive and quick they move - Awesome weapon designs that go back to the old game design philosophy where weapons look unique - Tons of interesting skills that add high risk/reward mechanics and encourage hyper aggressive play -The ability to pause the game in single player lol - Doggos :)

That grab attack looks like midir’s. Just get em close to the flame gland and incinerate them. It looks like it hurts, but maybe the game will have mercy.

Halloween week is stacked: MH Wilds open beta then Horizon Zero Dawn Remaster, Dragon Age The Veilguard, and Vampire Survivors Castlevania DLC on Halloween.

Looks like another tech. is going into Wilds from DD2. The Black Flame moster seems to use the same tech as Medusa and the Dragon Snake in DD2 to slither around.

Most Sonic games require player input, so it is skill based. Especially if you want the fastest time and highest rank. This game is also skill based. The devs even point out that Shadow Gens has the most branching paths of any boost game. It's a rollercoaster that you are in control of and you'll die if you mess up.

No weapon is, or ever has been trash, they are all just different. Every weapon is a completely different playstyle. Just because the weapon doesn't fit your playstyle doesn't mean it's bad. I started playing the series in 4 ultimate (G). I used the chargeblade back then and it was great.

I first saw you when you were starting monster hunter stuff and was very confused when you were new to monster hunter and thought that you were gaijin hunter lol

Gaijin Hunter is one of the biggest hunters in the MH community, he has a HUGE following. another big one is the rising star that is Rurikhan

Im proud to say I'm one of few NA players that has been here since the beginning. Started in 2006 and have played evert NA release. Some great memories include staying up all night with my brother and friend playing multiplayer on our PSP's Buying 3 copies of Monster Hunter 4U just so my friends had no excuse not to play with me. And getting my MH World collectors edition at a midnight launch after being told weeks earlier when I tried to pre order that they were all gone. After being on handheld for almost it's entire life and being stuck at ps2 lvl graphics there are no words to describe how World felt to us vets. Those sales numbers make me cry at how far my baby has come. One of my few wishes in life would be to go back and play MH World for the first time again. The week it came out I played it more then I worked at my full time job. Hope you keep having fun with your playthrough. I'll join live as soon as I'm caught up on vods

Your poison palico weapon was doing a lot of work. If you see a monster drooling poison thats why. You can also see the dmg ticking away every 5 seconds or so

Not sure if youve found this out by now but most maps have 3 levels. You thought you explored all of the Ancient forest but you never left "floor 1" Edit. You literally figured it out 30 seconds later in the vid lmao. Im leaving this here for the algorithm.

That insect glaive user is just bad, because in wilds you have more midair dodges. So you should be better at landing the midair attacks, not worse. He’s either bad, or the dunes were just messing with him. Edit: not having bounce doesn’t make it harder to hit the monster, you should know that if you use it. Real insect glaive users don’t need the bounce.
