An Interview With The World's #1 Marriage Coach
Ex of 9 years used to stonewall me throughout the relationship over silly arguments. The final stonewall she did for about a week, I got sick of it and I matched her behavior. 7 days in I mentioned that it is not friendly and she said that she is "Not responsible for how I feel" . That led to a heated argument and she kicked me out from our apartment. She never let me back in. She packed up all my stuff in garbage bags, said that I am abusive and that I have anger problema. Very cruel of her!
Have you considered the possibility that you may have issues with anger or abusive behavior, and that she might be protecting herself? Or has this been dismissed, with the focus solely on her being perceived as cruel?
Please turn off the music
Ok
You are full of shit! Im my case it was due to in-law's bigotry and prejudice. My ex eas mega influenced by her parents who hated my guts from day one. Im Canadian, British Canadian and her parents were eccentric french Canadian. They also encouraged and supported all her affairs!
Even if I send my soon to be ex-husband this video, I can already expect that he won’t watch it or will watch maybe the first minute only. He fell asleep during PRE-marriage counselling, I don’t even know why I said yes.
Sorry to hear that.
It’s incredible to see this sort of content in an echo chamber of voices that are advocating for “walk away… she’s toxic… you deserve better…” bullshit. It’s people like you that are going to change the narrative around marriage and I believe the marriage statistics will eventually follow suit. Keep fighting the good fight!
Thank you
So the effort is only mine! As usual
Playing the victim beautifully…as usual.
I have never seen a RUclips channel that suggests to women to make a little effort with their men.
@@monumatch1079 Maybe there's a reason for that. If someone isn’t attracted to you, it’s not their responsibility to force themselves to feel differently. It’s up to you to become a more attractive person. Playing the role of the victim while feeling entitled isn’t appealing to anyone. Have you ever considered that this attitude might be what’s turning people away? Or do you expect others to change to accommodate your sense of entitlement?
Thank you for the interesting responses that made me think. I appreciate everything that is discussed on your channel. I just wanted to point out that efforts need to be made by both parties to make a relationship work. However, I notice that there are many who teach men how to create the right environment, how to help improve the sense of security, and I’m sure these are all the right things... but what can women do? Nothing? Do they just have to wait? We should admit that there is a significant imbalance from this perspective.
The bottom line is you’re not good at sex. Your wife gets nothing out it, that’s why she has no desire for it with you. Instead of looking at that ugly truth and saying I’m not attractive to my wife and she gets nothing out of sex with me…I need to really work on myself to become s more attractive person, and learn how to meet her needs. You want a free pass. She meets your needs sexually quite well, that’s why you want more You don’t meet hers at all, that’s why she not in the least bit interested in sex with you…yet still she need to make an effort and do more. So no I can’t agree with you. Only you can resolve this issue. You’re the one lacking skills, not her, how is you not meeting her needs her problem to work on? What you’re actually looking for is a spell caster or a witch doctor, maybe some voodoo witch.
so this person is telling us to be more clever then the bitch we married from the beginning ,correct or not
And what if you did the work over 12 months. Reconciled, was met with walls and tests, stonewalling, false hope, bread crumbing then she served divorce paperwork. She wouldn’t check back in after some small old behaviours come back up
I am looking for your help in my marriage dear Lord. Amen
Help is available.
I came for the comments
I’m sure there are some good ones :)
This is why men think women are crazy. In that scenario what does trash have to do with feeling like an equal? Why wouldn’t she just have an adult conversation and say I don’t feel treated like an equal? Women divert emotional responsibility by using the object or task as a scape goat for their uncomfortable feelings or emotions that they don’t want to admit come so easily at the drop of a dime or spilled milk, instead of just saying what they really mean, and then expect men to just figure it out without explaining it while also blaming them
I may be the only comment on this video and that is fine because God wanted me to hear this message. Out of all of the marriage help videos I watch for help and restoration in my current marriage, this one was the deepest and most resonating one for me today. I am a Christian and my name is Joshua. My parents named me after Joshua from the Old Testament so I believe that this was meant to be heard by me. I also will add that my church I am apart of had this same sermon last Sunday on Joshua. Good video, and thank you! God Bless!
Thank you Joshua. If this video blesses only you, it was worthy making :)
Divorce is never the way out, My wife and I have been having issues before I sort out help from a spiritual adviser, I wasn't going to let my marriage of 18years crash
Relationships are hard, but I've learned that there's always a way to fix things. Five years ago, my husband and I were facing divorce because of problems in our marriage, but we managed to resolve them. It was challenging, but we survived.
Amazing, I am kind of in a similar situation, how did you handle it?
please how can I get in touch with the spiritual adviser?
you can look her name up online and you will find all you need.
Thank you for this valuable information, i will check her out now..

Marriage may go through toxic. That is why. I am watching your youtube.
I hope it turns out well for you Bruce, my prayers are with you brother.
Thanks Cody, 11mths into your programme and I have learnt so much about myself and where I was going wrong, keep the content up
Thanks Matt, much appreciated :)
I watched your youtube a lot. It is very helpful. My wife left home. It has been for a while. And she refuse to come back home. She wanted me to pay her parent`s debt for her. It made our problem started. It is not a small amout. What should I do to make my wife to come back for me?
Hi Bruce, the probably overly simple answer would be "what do you want more, your money or your wife?".
@@BetterMarriageByCodyButlerOf course, I want my wife more. There is no questions about it. But her parent`s debt is more than I thought. I can`t afford to pay all right away. I just need some time to help them. I will find out. Thanks for your help.
There is obviously more to the story but we’re limited as to what can be said in the comment :)

I see it!! Come on over, let’s hang out. 👍🏽🤣
Lol
So let me get this straight according to you it’s the man’s fault that the woman’s deciding to act like a child and not regulate her emotions. That’s just great advice.
@@BetterMarriageByCodyButler : In your video your example is a one-sided scenario. Your example details 3 problems: - Husband is dismissive of her emotions. - Husband criticizes her in an insensitive way. These 2 things have continued to happen for sometime and eventually makes the wife emotionally withdrawn. You example clears shows how the husband is being unfair in his interaction with his wife. Ok, everything fine so far. What about the case where the husband is not unfair and insensitive in his interaction with his wife, but his wife stonewalls when the husband make a respectful and gentle request to address the conflict? Can you share your thoughts on this type of scenario, perhaps with a video?
Thanks for your feedback
If communication with you is painful, pointless or both, it doesn’t matter how gently you ask, at some point she’s going to stop wasting her time. A woman not wanting to talk is like a man not wanting sex. If your wife is stonewalling you…there are serious issues going on.
Why don't you let her go? Who doesn't want you, you don't want him Let the one who does not love you and does not want you go to hell
Because some people think their family is fighting for.

Good advice!
Thank you Sir
This video made me constipated
Your wife is a lucky woman.
Jesus loves u all repent and turn to god believe in the gospel
I don’t understand when tf she takes accountability and responsibility for her negative and toxic ways in the relationship. Why do these videos only to make the woman feel better? When tf do the issues the man has in the relationship get addressed? So the man has to struggle and silence with none of his needs being met or addressed until…she feels better?
This video is titled what to do if your your wife wants a divorce. If you believe telling her she’s toxic and needs to change and that she needs to address your needs is a strategy to get her to change her mind, by all means, go for it.
What if she should feel bad about herself for her actions
What about it?
2
Yes
Sounds like you want men to take the abuse? I have done this change of mindset, and her behavior continues. What about our emotional safety and security?
You missed the entire point of the video. Search "Kruger Dunning effect".
Man I need to hear stuff like this from time to time to keep my self looking at the positive aspects. Thanks for all you do.
thank you
You stated the result, bud, not the solution.
I 100% stated the solution. You didn't understand it.
There’s a reason there are only 13 comments to this video being up one year. This is bullshit. Why is it always on us men to change the situation? Her actual realization of what contributions she makes to the situation is non existent. Often times her unhappiness is rooted within HERSELF and there is NOTHING YOU HAVE THE POWER TO CHANGE. This is the same advice I’ve been hearing my entire long life and could not figure out WHY IT NEVER WORKS. Of course, she will tell you where you fall short, but rectifying that will only lead to the next thing she doesn’t like. These are NOT THE ROOT PROBLEM. You will continue trying to hit a moving target, and if you do get close, that’s when the goalposts move. Most women are unable to be satisfied with a normal predictable good life, and are unhappy. Find one who isn’t like this, gents, or just be satisfied with letting the unhappy one go and learn the fulfilling aspect of going it alone. There are plenty out there you can have short term flings with to keep your hormones satisfied!
You haven’t understood the first point in the video. I said none of the things you’ve taken from it, but hey, doesn’t stop you from becoming rude, aggressive and obnoxious. But you’re entitled to your opinion. Can’t imagine why your wife wants nothing to do with you.
You know absolutely zero about women, but the worst part is you know below zero about the true male identity and role
@@BetterMarriageByCodyButlerI agree with your comment. He sounds like my soon to be ex-husband. I’ve tried for YEARS and gone for marriage counselling alone. He hasn’t shown permanent change, only temporarily when he feels the threat of me leaving.
@@AverageAufa Yes, he's history. Not a hope of saving his marriage.
I gave it look just to get a perspective from a different person. The moment when you said logic attacks emotions I lost all respect and interest and you lost all credibility. When a person steals something which is not necessary for their life-saving situation, takes an item/money that’s not theirs, without asking, without permission: THE FACT is they are in the wrong. EMOTIONS of the thief don’t matter here. Steer clear, useless “advice”
Awesome, thanks for sharing your view.
i just find another girl
So why are you watching this video?
Why is it always the man's fault? This video is like every other one on YT. It assumes the man is doing everything wrong and the woman is the poor innocent victim trying to save the marriage and its us men who are not letting them. Women are just as capable at stuffing things up. What if she is the one doing things wrong and the us men are trying to tell her what the problems in the relationship are and she meets it with hostility, defensiveness or not taking it on board?
I wish you the best of luck with your approach, sounds like it’s working out great for you.
Damn you’re saying the exact same thing in other ways for 7 minutes. Not talking about solutions. Moreover, it’s not always the fault of the man. Getting sick of these one sided sell pitches
Then my suggestion is don’t watch anymore videos from me. All the best.
It's always the man's fault with these types of videos. It's always what us men are doing wrong and how women are the poor innocent victim who's trying to save things and we are hostile to them and we need to change. My gf f'in cheated on my with a lesbian from work and somehow that's MY FAULT! Sexual discrimination is illegal and this channel should be reported and shut down.
@@gsf5882 exactly man. That sucks big time though..
Ok, she’s leaving you because you doing everything right and meeting all her needs? She’s leaving you because you are a bad option for her and she would rather be alone than be with you. Blame her for that if you want to and see what you get. This video is for men whose wives want out, and you want to change that. It’s not couple’s counselling. Telling a woman who’s walking out that she’s the problem is pure stupidity.
@@BetterMarriageByCodyButler damn you’re a savage. Are you really that onesided? Of course a guy can change certain behavior and work on certain traits. But only to a extent. Women however do need to work on the relationship as well. A relationship is always two sided, they both need to work on it and themselves.
You are right and I've done everything what ever you said to do but there is no winning situation
No bro, the number 1 rule we have in our program is never grade your own homework. In your mind you’ve done everything, that’s your evaluation. You’re simply not qualified to evaluate your own performance.
Subscribed. You made total sense to me. I have just married a Filipina lady, it has its challenges.😊
Thank you
I’m committed
Excellent
Emotional safety and emotional validation goes both ways. If your wife never validates your perspective, you're not going to want to validate hers. It's just how it goes. Men don't just invalidate women for no reason. Men are charged with always having to be sensitive to women's emotions and views, but women are never held accountable to the same standards. Until this changes, marriages will always fail unless the man is willing to be a simp 100% of the time
Couldn’t agree with you less, and I’m sure that’s validated by your lack of relationship success. No doubt you have a series of failed relationships behind you, all the fault of someone else no doubt.
He has failed relationships because he’s dealing with American western women. You don’t know any of the men here, but you’re automatically pointing the finger at the men as if women are not notorious for stonewalling.
If the woman wants to be understood on an emotional level, and she wants to avoid fights and pain, then why do women do nothing but create fights by blaming the men for their feelings? All women have to say is "i want you to understand me" and I will seek to understand. But instead I'm met with unfair judgements and I'm condemned as an evil or bad person for not reading her mind and not wanting to put up with baseless hostile accusations every day of my life.
I think you might be misreading the situation a bit here.
You say the cause of the stonewalling is the man's behavior, but what if the man was unfairly judged by a neurotic, controlling and emasculating wife who cannot accept responsibility for her own actions, and the man got sick of it, and now the wife is stonewalling? Does the mechanics of cause and effect apply to the woman or just solely to the man?
You're not going to want to hear anything I have to say to you.
There is no excuse for stonewalling. Stonewalling is abusive, manipulative, and childish. If a woman is stonewalling you, it's because she's holding onto resentment. She thinks she is entitled to resent you, but you can't resent her. Double standards. And even if you apologize and try to communicate with her to resolve things, she will still stonewall you. So you're constantly being crucified, and you're on a neverending hampster wheel of trying to appease her emotions (even if they're not justified at all) to get her to stop withdrawing. It's all a game plated by a woman who is emotionally immature and can't handle conflict.
Interesting view point.
Perfectly said
She is going to start looking elsewhere, she is going to start an affair.
No, it doesn’t mean that at all. It means communication with you is painful, pointless or both.
Have you thought of running relationship courses? I mean before the crisis point occurs? I think they would be successful. To be good at anything requires study and practice. The same is true of relationships. I wish I had known the information before my family fell apart.
Yes, I do have a program.
How do you deal with a wife that is checked out and when you even try to make small talk with her she says to you to not even bother…. She has also been angry at me and tries to pick out everything she thinks I do wrong in her eyes which are the most random things to start a fight. I have stopped giving in and arguing about them but don’t know how to regain trust and rebuild when she is so shut down…
Best thing is to schedule a call with us, there’s no quick answer.
Love this mindset!
Thank you :)
