Right on, thank you! I'm using the Positive Grid Spark Amp with a cool Descendents sounding tone. Guitar is recorded directly to Garage Band (using the Spark app for tone). Then I use that WAV for guitar audio when I edit.

@@JGrimaldi7723 From descendents, I'd have to say In Love This Way. My favourite album is the Liveage! one. I personally love the live shows, it's got older stuff and newer stuff.

Great song! As soon as I read your message, I heard the jangly guitars and started singing...Amazing. Have you checked out Hallraker? The live version of My World blows me away. It's kind of their 'other' live album, but I love it just as much as Liveage. ALL Trailblazer is another gem.

@@JGrimaldi7723 I've listened to Hallraker before, but not in a while. I'll give it a listen right about now! I do like ALL, but Pummel isnt on the streaming service I use. I would like to have physical copies, but I don't. I really love Descendents and their Cheerfulness. As much as I love the heavier stuff, I always come back to bands like Descendents.

Thanks, Kip! I'm playing through a Marshall JCM 800 2205 50 watt head with a Marshall 4 X12. The secret sauce is in the pickups. The original bridge pickups were recently replaced with a Gibson 57 Plus humbucker. It gave kind of a thicker, Sabbath like tone at first, but once I adjusted the Marshall, she purred. I mixed the audio and my guitar live (aka loud speaker and amp) and hit record on the Ipad. I use a Focusrite Scarlett solo now and a Sure SM 58 to mic the guitar so everything can be mixed in post. I know the SM57 is the preferred guitar mic, but I had a 58 and it does the trick. Cheers! John

@@JGrimaldi7723 Classic setup. Great results! I've often unscrewed the ball from an SM58 and mic'd a cab with it... works just fine! I like your vids. You're a really solid player and you have these Descendents tunes locked!

Despised was them finding their sound. Weak and Four are great. Spanaway took it to another level. Definitely worth a listen. One of my favorite all times bands.
