She isn’t a Catholic priest. I don’t know what church she’s in, but Only men are Catholic priests.

Confusion can be caused early in this discussion by continually referring to Jesus as "Christ", which "reads the answer into the questions," to an extent. Surely at that stage of the discussion it is best to stick to referring to him as Jesus of Nazareth. Another problem is caused by using the expression "person" or "persons" without elaboration of the fact that "person" in the sense used by "the fathers" of the early church, is very different to our idea of persons and personhood now. The problem with describing, for example, the Spirit as being the "entity" or "person" which effectively prays on our behalf (the Romans 8 reference), is that it tends towards "modalism," an ever-present danger in any of our attempts to define or delineate different "roles" or modes of operation of the different "persons." I think that as humans we have created and perpetuated a wholly shambolic idea with the doctrine of the trinity (if indeed it can be described as a doctrine, understandings of it being still so diverse and multivarious), an idea that is wholly human in the sense that it encapsulates and demonstrates the human desire to "explain away" all mystery, including the mysteries surrounding and penetrating the ineffable divine.
Thank you for streaming this service. May you rest in peace, Joe, and rise in Glory... My love to you, Caroline, and your family... barbara mendoza
Nicely sung, terrible recording -- organ too loud.
Thank you for posting this.
Why can't the microphone before the preacher be so that one can hear him/her?? This is a shame.
What a reverent version of “The Lord is My Shepherd”
Very beautiful
😴 P R O M O S M
Thank you. A beautiful hymn and so rare to hear. Nice voice.
Great organ playing and singing !
I'm confused, I thought the priesthood was only men !?
You are correct-Catholic priests are men only - always
Who Moved the Stone? Frank Morison "I owe Morison a great debt of gratitude. Who Moved the Stone? was an important early link in a long chain of evidence that God used to bring me into his kingdom. Morison’s stirring intellectual exploration of the historical record proved to be an excellent starting point for my spiritual investigation." --From the foreword by Lee Strobel
those candles beside the lectern need to be replaced right away.
When did the liturgy get so sloppy at Ascension and St Agnes? This was the standard bearer in the Anglo-Catholic movement. It seems their desire to conform to the modern has outweighed their mission of providing excellent liturgy. Side note, the music was fantastic and lifted me upwards to the heavens, the liturgical actions lacked and smacked me back to the earth.
Really enjoyed this especially 39 mins in. Very much identify with her intellectual evolution I had and continue to have
Thank you! 🙏🏽
Do you have any physical evidence for your physical claim of a JC and rising from the dead?
WOW. GREAT SINGING VOICE!
What a change from the days of Fr. Meisel and Fr. Perry Michael Smith. It's, to me, way too sad. Those who marry the zeitgeist will soon be widowed.
Beautiful! Thank you!
1. Jesus, our mighty Lord, our strength in sadness, the Father's conquering Word, true source of gladness your name we glorify, O Jesus, throned on high: you gave yourself to die for our salvation. 2. Good shepherd of your sheep, your own defending, in love your children keep to life unending. You are yourself the way: lead us then day by day in your own steps, we pray, O Lord most holy. 3. Glorious their life who sing, with glad thanksgiving, true hymns to Christ the King in all their living: all who confess his name, come then with hearts aflame, the God of peace acclaim as Lord and Saviour.
Thx for a great talk, Sarah. I have embarked on a journey over the last few years of daily meditation (silent, still sort) though dabbling in agnostic atheism. There is a Presence there. Loved your comment about God engaging us on the level of practicing attention because for some of us that is the only way he can get our attention.
A beautiful offering to God who gathered and blessed us.
Magnificent.
@42:15, so this belive can easily relate to reincarnation which is not in agreement with the Abrahamic beliefs. please comment Fr. Martin and Mother Sarah. Thank you!
It's mystical experiential theology not belief based.
Wonderful discussion!
Prayer for the Conversion of the World Our Holy Mother writes in Her message: These days are a preparation for the descent of your King; pray so that everybody will be ready; pray, My little children, fervently for those souls who refuse to hear and refuse to see, pray to your Father who is in Heaven in this way: Jesus reminds us in that way: Beloved ones, I am the Light of the world and before you I am walking; still, I am telling you this: there are other sheep I have that are not of your fold, I will lead all these as well under My Renovated Church so that there will be one flock and one Shepherd; go out to the nations and teach them to pray to the Father this prayer: Father all Merciful, let those who hear and hear again yet never understand, hear Your Voice this time and understand that it is You, the Holy of Holies; open the eyes of those who see and see, yet never perceive, to see with their eyes this time Your Holy Face and Your Glory, place Your Finger on their hearts so that their hearts may open and understand Your Faithfulness, we pray and ask you all these things Righteous Father, so that all the nations be converted and be healed through the Wounds of Your Beloved Son, Jesus Christ. Amen🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Our Holy Mother (May 15, 1990 - and the Nihil Obstat)
Hello nice to meet you all if ok I like your video it's so Cool my name is nabil if OK
It has been a wilderness retreat for me which has deepened my prayer and Christan meditative practice. The works of John Main have been a great and helpful influence.

When does Compline begin? It doesn't seem to be mentioned on the main parish website.
Hi Mark, Compline is at 8PM on the first Sunday of the month, now in our St. Francis chapel. The information should now be on the website. Thanks for asking!
I am an ordinary member of the flock. I was attacked by demons and the Tempter I read and put into action the Sayings of The Desert Father's How they enabled me to amend my life, discover imperfections that could lead a soul to hell. I read and review these sayings every day. The most difficult thing is to talk to someone who does not relate displeasure at something or someone. The Desert Fathers would refer to this type of individual as a visible devil. The Shepard would compel the individual who said negative things about another to leave at once.he would add "I will not have a visible devil present as well as an invisible one. I pray my testimony will inspire one person to assimilate the Sayings of the Desert Fathers. They have the in them the way to defeat The Devil.
thank you

Father Domique I remember when you served at Saint John's ( Roman Catholic) Church in Frederick ,Maryland about 20 years ago.
You are awesome!! This content desperately needs P R O M O S M!!
Please help me pray for reconciliation with my daughter, for her to forgive me for being terrible mother.
Hello nice to meet you all if ok I like your video it's so Cool my name is nabil if OK
Prayers Lea. Our Lord forgives us and we must forgive ourselves we was we do the best we can depending on where we are at a certain time. but ll need to forgive each other and we pray for a softened heart for your daughter. Am sure you were not terrible, just misguided maybe? But whatever it is the Lord sees he heart. He knows your feelings and He wants us to forgive each other, and ourselves too, I understand Your pain as have seen this first hand. Our own families the bible even says can be the hardest in the time before the Lord returns. A daughter and mother and Mother and sone and on and on there would be divisions and misunderstandings. But love and forgiveness is always required. We all have much to learn, we are only human. Bless you for holding your love open and waiting for your daughter to return like the prodigal son this is your daughter. Prayers go out to you, and a reconciliation soon ,if it be the will of God!
Father Dominique's comment is priceless!
excellent lecture!
Beautiful liturgy and music. I'm curious, though: I don't understand how or why it makes sense for the Presider to face a free-standing altar with his back to the faithful. Isn't the purpose of a free-standing altar to celebrate the Eucharist with the Presider facing his or her concelebrants? Why not just preside from the high altar?
