I work for a retailer that just started using "MyTime". The app we access it through is UKG. My job is time & attendance, or now we are called Time Maintenance. We have learned how to maintain associate time cards. But the report processing that we have learned doesn't include any instructions on printing what associates have worked, as far as showing what their punches were. I live in a state where we have to keep employee records for 5 years. I called our state labor & industry office, and they confirmed that it is fine to keep records digitally. Consequently, we have no actual time reports to look at on paper. I understand letting employees handle their time card digitally, but with a store of almost 300 employees, managed by managers who can see their associates time, but are not able to input any codes, the expectation is for them to communicate the needed sick and other absent reasons via email or phone, or literally writing on a piece of paper. The digital information is great, but that doesn't mean having reports with hours on it, so that managers can WRITE what is needed, as a means of communication with us time keepers is not needed. I don't think our company understands the frustration of us time maintenance associates. Sooo, we had to create a form as a means of communication. The fact that we need this in order to run smoother tells me they are lacking something here. I keep saying, we must me missing something. There's got to be some way of giving each manager a physical way of reading and communication the absent information. I can run reports that show names in order of the number of absences, but I can't sort it by department. And no one seems to know how to do this.

Hi Andrea, thank you for this excellent training. How can I add the time bar to my timesheet edit? Is th bar where I can see the total regular hours, total overtime hours, total sick hours etc.
Hi Andrea, thank you for this helpful training. How did you configure the system to allow the employee to split time allocation, but not be able to edit their punches?
