I've rode on this line around east London it hit 52mph on the Hammersmith and city line and on the district line i beard the fan was almost pitch higher than this it was over 52mph next time i will go on these again and see what limit they pushed to great video as always

That is an ex Northern Line 1972MK1 car with the rubber seal on the door windows and longer windows, A small number of ex Northern line 72mk1 trains are on the Bakerloo as 3 or 4 car half units and as complete trains. Most of the MKIs were withdrawn from the Northern Line in the late 1990s, had their components recovered as spare parts for the remaining 72s on the Bakerloo line, as well as ex Victoria Line 1967 stock before they were permanently scrapped.

I used this line in the late 60s and most of the 70s before it got mucked about. Canons Park to Waterloo without having to change trains, happy days.

I visited London from New York last week for the baseball games and spent a lot of time on this line with our hotel being in Canningtown. As someone who takes a subway a lot in major cities, it felt to me that the Jubilee trains take off quicker than the other lines I went on.

I am not certain about this, so some research may be needed to verify this, I think the current Jubilee line stock was built as 6 car units for when it ran Stanmore to Charing Cross. More units and extra carriages were built for when the line extended to Stratford. The dates for these are beyond my memory now.

I don't think the seats are uncomfortable. In my experience, I found them to be a little firm, but not that bad.

It is the acceleration that impresses me!
