The leak issue is not about what player will summons. What characters the player will pull or not will be mostly decided after info from teasers (drip marketing) and test servers (Character Kit reveal). It's about damage prevention, since leak content may unnecessarily agitate fans or lead to disappointment when the initial plan is changed to something else.

🤔 Planning the summons isn't really the problem since WuWa drip markets future characters themselves. 👉 Everyone knew Xiangli Yao was free cuz of leaks. That killed the hype for the generous feat they made. They didn’t get their top trending hype mind-blowing reactions like Honkai Star Rail did with Dr. Ratio. Which ultimately results in less positive publicity on a viral scale. Leakers are hung up on the future content, but they don't think about the long-term results of their actions and how they impact both the community and the game they're trying to profit off of. It's sad how Kuro Games said that the leaks were discouraging for them and lessened their passion for the game. But if I worked my butt off to make a beautiful well-designed character, give it out for free, and wake up to all the CCs acting like they don't care or like it's not a big deal (even if it's cuz they already knew long before), I'd be really upset too. Leakers seriously lack empathy in matters such as this. That being said, Kuro Games also has a responsibility to keep a chokehold on their information. They should invest in a team that could tighten data security and protocol. Keep closer tabs on who has access to what information, etc. They have to try harder on their end too. They can't count on people to have the morals or care to do right by them - especially when those people can make a profit from it.

Look, I know some people want to save their Astrite for future characters/weapons to help with building future teams, and others people are hating that people are leaking stuff. Both sides are completely justifiable own. Now... something that crosses my mind that might actually help BOTH sides here is something that Sega, the developers of PSO2, have probably been doing for years. Give us a roadmap of what is to come, but make sure said roadmap only gives us just a small taste without trying to spoil anything.

Honestly the leaks that should be preventing 100% are 1) Voice because they PAID an actor for this! This is for the company and said actor benefits. 2) Leaking story and gameplay is also a game product so no leaking please... The only leaks that's pretty gray zone are characters mechanic. That one the leaks can be good for the players and game dev can geg player perspective early to patch it before release. Yes the leaking of characters can get you free beta feedback.

Kuro doesn't care that much about beta leaks, they care about future version leaks (1.4, 2.0, etc)

i like leaks for gacha games. makes it easier to know what characters might run in which update and what materials they need. camellya was basically confirmed to be in 1.4 before the official post from kuro. i have yet to see any story leaks that have ruined my enjoyment in any way.

Leak can effect people experience in a sense of leak sometimes is still a content that's subject to change . For example JiaoQiu in HSR kit have been leak and publish and effect the perception of people who's initially looking forward to the character . So if leak show that the character is very strong , very OP , the dev team decide to nerf them down before release , Then that would mean the leak and the real product doesn't match and can effect people perception too .

There are goods and bad. But it can potentially grab that idea for other competitors to copy them and claim their own idea. But the good part has outweight the bad. So maybe kuro should focus on giving player time too choose for exmple lets say Resonator "A" Banner end at 31st. New resonator will come earlier two days before previous banner end. So let them choose or spend some money (if they want both resonator)

Actually, leaks are the only reason I keep playing this game since the game is boring af as of now, so I constantly look up leaks for some stimulation! i didn't pull for zhezhi because she's boring as well and if i don't know whether cool characters are coming or not, i just stop playing it straight up instead of pulling for a boring character anyway! Behind doors they REALLY don't care about leaks.. it's free publicity... just look and Hoyo MULTI MULTI BILLION dollars company said they were gonna go after leakers... they did for like what 3 weeks ? If that.. look at genshin now more leaks than any other gacha game...I feel like Kuro is just saying this cause they have to.

To this day I still think this was one of the most unbalanced games in history of gaming LMAO EVERY new s tier character had hyper armor, immune frames, attack frames that were basically immune frames and crazy op ability cooldown so people could just spam abilites and basic attacks then never lose unless you were using a similar character (WHM characters, aizawa, stain, endveavor, hawns, mrio etc) but I mained basic base game Todoroiki so if I clipped an S tier with my ice shards I could get a nasty combo then win the next 50/50 and finish them off but that was the extent. TLDR the game was so unbalanced but beaten the unbalanced characters were so fun

RIP I guess we will never get to know which characters coming next. but when you think about it, it's not about player enjoyment... it's about money they want to disrubt people knowing when to save and when to skip, cause if you see a cool character and you don't have enough astrits you will have to swipe.
