This hack was created by Susieq on the Vinesauce forums (before it got shutdown) released on April 28 2016 according to when it was posted. In this hack, Grand Dad is portrayed as a villain/monster who's out on a mission to find his "brother" who's been missing for a long time and doing so in violent ways, oh and Quario's there too I guess.

Done by holding buttons 1 & 2 (idk what buttons they are on a physical cabinet sorry) after pressing start, works for single player and multiplayer which is shown off here. Also shows off that the realistic gfx aren't applied for the bonus rounds for whatever reason. The sprites have been ripped and there's footage of it online albeit in phone quality but I don't think anyone's uploaded HD foot...

Hey all, after two days, I've made my first TAS ever and this version of the game's first TAS too! I wanted to do this so people can see what they need to do in order to get the Pac-Man Arrangement/Pac-Mania skin which gets unlocked from getting all of the in-game achievements. Always loved the lofi vibes of the music on Xevious Arrangement; the arranged version in Xevious 3D/G+ is even better. I could never complete it though, I'd get to maybe Area 7 or 8 and be stuck. Nice to see a full playthrough of this, thanks!

Yeah, it’s, like, drumless, like the unused drumless version of Buccaneer Beach. I like both versions, super classic.
Just wish sooner or later, the chances of hearing about the South Korean PC port of the game, any maybe it’ll show the music which is supposed to be uncompressed…just hope it’ll be found then announced. Or we could just wait for Tommy to come back and we’ll ALL try to talk with him about Namco actually willing to let him post the full uncompressed ost on SoundCloud at least. Until then, we’ll have to have patience and not worry that much about it.

Tactical Speed Run
I wonder if Kooky Crypt was cut due to quality reasons. Even though it's in an early state, it seemed a like the developers weren't quite sure what to do with the design. Oh well, Manic Mines and Crisis Cavern are great regardless.

4 Words: AYO WHAT DA FOK?
After like a year or so, I've decided that I'm gonna redo this because 1, it's not optimized. 2, the video's not rendered in 60fps which the game runs at (which is why the graphics for the countdown numbers and the ready set go look weird) and the colors aren't accurate to what the NES would display. 3, I used a personal, edited rom which changed the graphics for Pac-Man, the ghosts, and the Fruits. Lastly 4, I'm not very proud of this considering this barely counts for TAS until the faster movement kicks in and the fact that timing is not even remotely close to what it should be. Will update this comment to have the new one whenever I finish it.
You should be able to get 500,000 points easily with a TAS, but you can't do it chasing ghosts around the screen. That takes too much time, which means you can't get through as many fruits and dots and power pellets. With a TAS it may be possible to keep your power pellet combo going the entire game, so every ghost will be 3200 points. That's worth 8 ghosts at 400 points, so you can afford to keep eating dots as fast as you can instead of wasting time on low-point ghosts. The only time you should stray far from the dot pattern to eat ghosts is when there are a lot of power pellets nearby - but in this run you didn't even get the 6 pellets at one time, you used 3 and then later got the 3 on the other side. If you use all 6 power pellets for 24 ghosts at 3200 points each, that's 76,800 points.
I got this game on Switch 2 days ago, but I'm familiar with the gameplay because I used to play the version on Xbox 360 years ago. I was playing just now and got 496,000. It would have been over 500,000 if I had used my last second to eat the nearby fruit, so hopefully I'll be able to get 500,000 soon if I manage to have another good game. So it would be awesome to see what kind of score you can get with a TAS. Is 600,000 possible? Maybe! I recommend looking at a few old videos of high score runs from the Xbox 360 version, maybe that would help. But it probably won't translate exactly to the NES version. I think the power pellets last longer in this version, so maybe it's possible to get a higher score on this version than on the original game.

It was released 15 years ago on Xbox 360 and apparently a lot of people didn't even notice. They think it's a new game.
About the two unused hub areas, the first one is clearly meant to be an early version of the final graveyard area... But what catches my interest is the second one: a large area that seems to have only one door going into a huge castle... I think that at one point in development, the door to toc mans arena was going to have its own little hub area seperate from the other graveyard levels where you could walk up to the large door(which would actually tie in perfectly with the cutscene before fighting toc-man which begins with pac man opening and going through a similar giant door). Due to how big this area is, maybe it was scrapped due to time constraints or due to its size
The unused king galaxian areas also seem to point towards an unused function in the fight... Based on the fact that there are actual hazards(like beams of electricity and the space invaders firing at you) and that there are three different screens, its possible that in order to deal damage and move on to the next phase. Pac man would actually board on top of king galaxian and hit a weak spot. This likely was cut because of how big it seems to be
Now i question me, what think and happend if a original develoaped or a original programer watched this XD (sorry my english is bad)
