    Like MOST new golf stuff, this thing is painfully oversold and overpriced. The statistics and Lee Trevino say that 90% of amateur golfers never get their shots all the way to the hole. Time after time after time public and private amateurs come up woefully short. The trend to stop the ball on a dime only means your approach is going to be that much shorter. There is no chance for a roll out if you are shredding the polymers and coating on your ball. If you can not get your ball pin high, then take more club, save time and money and forget about groove edges. A pro will hit upwards of a thousand balls a week or more. These people expect precision and they need the ball to stop to the point they are trying to hit. They can get a brand new set of irons anytime they want. They do not have time to sharpen grooves. They are too busy throwing darts at a bullseyes. $150 for this thing is foolhardy.

    Ok, went out, ordered one. Five rounds in, ready to pack it in. Here's a thought: Yes, Vokey is a "blade" wedge. This one is forged, has a smaller "appearing head"", and feels "buttery smooth". Yet, it being marketed as "forgiving" while having the appearance and "feel" of a "blade". On reflection, and considering how poorly these have translated from my Ping Glide 4.0 set, this was an expensive mistake. Would return them if I could, but caveat emptor, read their "return" policy carefully. Not for me, not impressed with the company, YMMV.

    $200 for 2.0, will 3.0 be $300? Ridiculous for steel head on steel shaft. Their cost must be about $30 per club.

    • @jon-n-charlottes838
      @jon-n-charlottes838 10 месяцев назад

      Steel head? Totally forged head and you can customize your shaft. I chose the KBS PGI 90 graphite shaft as I play KBS PGI 100's on my irons and can't wait to get them in my bag. No other manufacturer offers this kind of customization and if you learn about the design and why it's better than the tour wedges, then maybe you would give them a try. Why spend $500 on a driver that you don't use on every hole? Most of my money in my bag is in the bottom - wedges and putter used on every hole (putter) or nearly every hole (wedges).

    I picked up the GrooVex because it’s not a sharpener, it’s for groove restoration. This restores or modifies the grooves to the max legal limit. The tool will stay true to form because it’s made from solid carbide. The edges won’t wear down like other steel tools so you don’t have to worry about taking too much off. Just run it through a few times and the groove is restored back to form.
