Does a pet sitter stay with your birds or your birds go to someone else’s home? Can budgies handle the stress of moving to someone else’s home? When I went on vacation, I moved my budgies to my mom’s house, but I wonder if it was stressful for the birds.

Wing clipping doesnt keep them from flying and maybe even puts them even more at danger.

Whenever I put my budgie outside for training they flew up and sat in wire they never-come-down until I force them to come by this my budgies are so afraid of me

I can't find it my parrot is female or male

I have a rescue budgie that I saved from outside two months ago.I can get her to eat from my hand but for some reasons still unable to get her to go onto my finger.I feed her lettuce and millet by hand but she just won’t jump on and bites me if I try to touch her.She plays on her playground on top of her cage.She sings and seems happy but I don’t know what else to do to connect any further?

Is it better to get a newborn parakeet?

This worked great! I got my budgie and he hadn’t moved at all in 24 hours. I followed your video and I actually got him to eat millet from me and he started looking around the cage, even climbed a bit after I had already taken my hand out of the cage. I was kinda worried something was wrong.

I have a budgies and she does not need any millet to get on any bodies head because she always thinks that people are trees

My parakeets cere is chocolate brown and actually has a bumpy point on her cere. I was SOOO concerned and worried. She has been emotionally petrified ever since I brought her to have her toenails and wings clipped😮😢I won't do it again😢😮she wasn't eating for weeks, not any seed at all, stayed in one corner of the her cage for 4 months. She's mean and fiesty! 😢won't let me train her to sit in my finger at all. I walk or simply uncover her for the day she growls squirrel like sounds to me, showing me she doesnt😮like me near her cage. I've been very stressed out, bcuz my health has taken a turn for the worst, and she can sense my grief and lack of patience😢😮then she hasn't chirped in a long time, diarrhea off and on and I put her on vitamins in water, moulting food, bcuz she was losing tons of feathers, no moulting now. I'm very busy, not home often, she's lonely, and ill be working, can u please give me any advice how to help her get thru these rough times😮😢? I never want to lose her, she was actually😮😢choking, bouncing her entire body up and down. Sweet😮jesus😮😢panic set in, I ran to pet store and bought some moultng, I can't afford to take her to avian vet, and can't apply for credit, low credit score, bcuz of ex husbands habits of wild spending, bankruptcy😢😮😢😢😢😢

My 19-year-old cockatiel passed away recently unfortunately... but she loved anything that was stringy and she loved bells because she wanted to put her whole head inside of the bell. Why was that stringy toy not safe for the parakeet? 😊
