Funny enough I wonder if it has to do with climate. I live in New Mexico, my house doesn't have central air so it's quite warm in the house. But I notice the ice and my drinks get warmer in the simple modern cup than my stanley.

Would avoid any Amazon Basic UPS, no surge rating, near the same price as name brands. Also, UPS's use GMA batteries, so you can put it any way you want, for that matter the battery is probably sideways in that unit. Also this is nothing more than a means for the RUclipsr to sell things through their affiliate link. Do you homework people.

This actually makes a lot of sense, particularly if you have balance problems or arthritis. I'm sorely tempted to switch over :D

Usually Battery Backups are meant to keep your computer long enough for you to save your files (so you don't lose your work), its not meant to keep your devices on during a power outage. So don't think of this product as a "oh I can keep working", because they can run out. So just save, turn off pc and relax until the power is back on.
