Cool 😎👍
You will see me in the corner of your eye, only ever in the shadows! 😮
Make a working JCB excavator
maybe I will.
Damn that’s cool that’s like a train
your mic is very very quiet! i have to have my volume on max to hear you comfortably. still, very cool video :3
@skmgeek thanks for the feedback!
i just went on a minecraft music side quest because of you (ty)
I wonder what would happen if you were halfway on the thing when it turns
Derailment would occur
What am i watching?
Why is the gantry made of 1 height pistons? Would a binary configuration screw up the timing?
The creation was made during a time where I didn't possesses the knowledge I have now. A binary configuration would indeed mess up timing. I've played around with binary piston gantry's and find them too slow for data reading and writing processes.
only down side of such a system is when there are a lot of these junctions back to back to back... u gotta do that short wait before the track activates then we gotta wait till the track is ready to travelled on then get off that junction only to end up at another junction... if only there was a way to automatically set all the junctions oriented correctly by just doing something at the start of the trip affecting every other junction down the path that leads to the destination this is interesting...
I could smash a junction and 180-reorientation into one. Requiring only two bearing than of five at every junction. Thank you for being up this issue!
could i get a workshop link for that car you use in this video... i just wanna try experimenting with stuff
Have fun with experimenting! steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3388331339
How would you go about making turns?
nice design. I enjoy trailmakers more than scrap mechanic, you should get it too, trailmakers has many more blocks and not just meaningless devlogs(are scrap mechanic devs even working)
@@rigelstarz6032 Yes, team Axolotl is still developing Scrap Mechanic. The issues with them is of their poor communication with the community. I ought to look into trailmakers! Thank you
where is turns?
I could see csx42 making one of these.
im suprised other people still play scrap mechanic. nice design 👍
Can i have a downloadable blueprint? I have a concept with curves/turns but I want to fact check by modifying the Wedge Train Design you made and see if my concept actually works.
Yes! Cant wait to see your design! steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3388331339
pretty nice design dude!! haven't thought abt using the wedges like that
This is actually a good idea. Imagine getting a bunch of friends and everyone builds their own cart and have a drag race ( sorry about the grammar)
Fun idea! Will post these all parts in collection soon
I dont know how i ended up here, but i think i got screwed
lol
can you post it on the workshop? I wanna try it out!
Sure! steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3387715243
@DualMDR yayyy, thank you so much!!❤️
Pretty cool idea! 👍 But why not the usual 'double shaky piston' trick? i get that this is cooler but its also a lot bigger ^^
Thanks! I don't know anything about 'double shaky piston', will look into that
double shaky pistons are very weak though, they have basically no strenght
stick a wedge under the pipe so that it floats freely going down and possibly increase the downforce of the pipe so the speed is increased. edit: wedge under pipe may need to be a 1x3 for meshing reasons
Thanks for the feedback! A more pressing issues is of torque. A electric motor doesn't apply enough to make the pipe fully ascend :( only a controller can, which I don't want to use because I want players to have the ability to have fine control.
@DualMDR it would be really interesting if you managed to make a meshed gear system - even if it uses mods - to convert speed of multiple electric engines to torque.
I learned that you can make some kind of rope out of them, and also tank track (almost) How are you flying?
The mod is called "Advance Tools" Its an amazing mod that allows creators to push the game further!
@DualMDR nice, thank you
That's an awesome way to use wedges!
Thanks! I have more to come!
how would it work with curves?
I haven't tried to do curves, my hypothesis is that Isn't not possible with the design I'm using. I'm working on a solution atm. Cheers!
@@DualMDR why not use bearings ,turntable style
Very nice! Now how to make these turn...
A turn table design
What about setting the Sensor to look for the color of the current?
Well the sensor is only looking for block within a range with a certain color. I want a sensor that takes in light from a light source block and interpret the light color, sadly sensors don't do that :(
lol this should be known as scrap mechanic chapter 1.5
There is a light sensor in fant mod
Thank you!
Could you use the color sensor?
just use pistons
True, but pistons adds inertia and vibrations which can mess up the imaging.
Incredible work. You made a computer in Scrap mechanic. Amazing work!
Its more of a device that stores information. Sadly it doesn't do any computations. Thank you for the compliment! :)
how are turning angle in bearing from driver seat? or have very long lift reach? How did you do that?
Sorry but im having trouble understanding your question 😥
@@DualMDR how did you control the angle of bearing from driver seat (AD) i mean how did you enter that gui "Driver"s seat turning" in 1:50
@@deluxenx6550 when using anything driver seat maxed out, the player is able to access an menu option for bearings to fine-tune them. Sorry for the late response, new video idea is in the works :)
Scrap Mastery!
Thanks!!
