Hi marco.. mag ka iba kasi ang frequency dito sa US and sa PILIPINAS yong 463-567mhz dito sa america is GMRS sa pilipinas nasa radio station ata yong 462-467mhz tinanong ko na kasi yon ang nag ask narin ako dati pero sinabi nila saakin na ang ham lang ang pwedi mong gamitin yong license mo sa AMERICA Pwedi mong gamitin sa pilipinas and nag email na ako sa PARA sa baguio na kong pwedi nilang gawin ang gmrs license to used in the philippines

Thank you kuya javier.. well basically not when iwas in the P.I they told to to used the license free radio, its just like a short com. Like FRS gaya dito sa states and now a days most na mga tao sa P.I gumagamit na ng zello so thats what they do now.regarding that u dont need to get a license in the P.I but if you want to get a licence like a HAM LICENSE you do but its more harder ang exam .so yon Thanks kuya

When traveling it amazes me how many GMRS repeaters one can't raise a soul less it is net check-in night. Then they come out of the woodworks. I have become hooked on a simplex parrot repeater to talk between two GM30s to play with different setups. When on the road with time on my hands I will announce and id on the local duplex repeater which is captured on my parrot then sent back to me either direct or back through through the duplex. My idea of fun and games. My GM30s will transmit at 4+ watts on non FRS 462 MHZ transmissions but falls to 2.9 watts on 467 MHZ repeater input channels. Is this normal among all handhelds??? I refuse to invest in anymore toys less GMS becomes active in my area. Farmers, Kids, and nursing homes is the only traffic I have. Mom gets upset when I crack the FRS encoding and start talking to her precious little Johnny.

Yeah i love the retevis and its strong radio ican hit the repeater no problem for me retevis is one of my fav ht radio good for family friends and for your self also one of the best radio HT

Its a browning 5/8 over 5/8 antenna 6db gain and its tunable to 1.0 swr metter i have the midland mxt 115 15 watt and ican hit 40 to 50 miles on my location

I have my antenna its nagoya 72g 1.0 swr metter

I was thinking about buying a radio like that does that radio get hot R not tuned well from the manufacturer ( btech 50-WATT )

@@grayeagleoklahoma2473 my radio its working fine if thats the case did you check your swr metter maybe its not on tune on your swr metter im using my for how many hours and its good and its just normal radio heat not to warm at all and im so amazed it that 50WATT BAD BOY AMAZING

Gud am sir bob yeah i love this radio small and its handy friendly used and has free antenna small one but if you want a better antenna and you can tune it on your swr metter i have the browning 5/8 over 5/8 6db gain antenna it can hit 40 to 50 miles with the repeater and this is my first base station micro mobile and i have it for almost 2 years now and it works pretty fine thank you and also pls check my othere video i have a defferent radio also from grms
