Wow Far beyond,Why do'nt you hear this on so called classic rock stations?
Brilliant 00:10 looks at instrument, ah yes. this is a guitar
this is real not taylor swift...THIS This is real music how it is suppossed to be.Real and honest.right to the bone.nothing fancy just some people crying their hearts out.Listen and learn ...
Inspired by the guitar work of Hank B. Marvin of The Shadows... “Well, the Hank Marvin part was very intentional, because having played with him on Fingerprints and with The Shadows, I had tried his Strat - or rather I was allowed to play it [laughs] - and I found out how to go about getting one...
Rockin the Fillmore is the greatest Live album ever!
Utter legend! And what a gentleman! There goes rock n roll!
Wonderful song, with a very young Peter Frampton. One of my favorite songs from the summer of love.
Nadie como Peter para interpretar esta canción 😢❤
😢❤😢❤😢
Quality musicianship. Great feel, especially the bluesy part. Very smooth yet very accomplished. Underated like so many great British guitarists
I'm so glad I got to see these guys in the early 70s. Marriott's voice still gives me goosebumps. One of the greatest rock singers ever. He sang with such passion.
❤😢❤
Why was Steve caught off at the end of the gig?
Marriot the greatest
don't have the albums anymore. But i.bought the CDs .My favorite band still love his voice, the same as in.the days
Ya’know I for one was happy to see Clem Clemson replace Frampton as lead. Peter played Jazz chords on his solos, which were so contrary to the nature of the songs. As far as Marriott’s singing, he simply did not need a microphone. That humongous voice coming out of that small frame was simply unbelievable. I’m old now, but being a teen at 15 in 1970 I was lucky enough to be in the sweet spot of early rock.
Steve Marriott was a great performer, he deserves more than he got!! Framton. Was learning at that time, vocals were all his , and he was tremendous!!!
Peter still has the same recognizable riffs to this day. Many memories from Winterland with Steve and his band of Rockers…Humble Pie rockers!
Love Humble Pie. Peter Frampton was looking pretty cute too.
I'm 12 years old and I quite like this band.
Hold on enjoy the ride
very good.........................................
This is rock and roll The real Deal Magic chemistry talent .
This song just rips right into me . Perfect! Thanks
brilliant band,intro was bit well
You know they have those amps cranked full. The great thing about UK Bands like this is they are not in a hurry to finish a song. When ever it’s over it’s over......
I became a Mod because of Steve Marriot with the small faces at the time and followed his music till he left us ,vocals and guitar are second to none ,missed but never forgotten.
Many wondered how such a big voice came out of such a little man. Amazing!
Steve Marriot the Mod you can still hear the flavour in his vocal and guitar, one of the best never forgotten.
Yes!! Mariott was the best.
One of the best performances you will ever see!!!
peter youwere te youngest livinglegend eve..❤ thanks🥳
What happened to his mike in the last part !? The sound guy turned it off and did not open it again !?
Live.long.rock.n,rool😂😂😂
WOW !!!
None better 👍dirk bogart 🎯🧨
Not 1 effects pedal on stage.Youngsters take note.
Missing these days when music was loud and in your face/ courtesy of Marshalls and Acoustic bass amps/ and Frampton was one of the most modal Rock players ever !!!###
“ stand-in for Dirk Bogarde” Sir Dirk Bogarde was initially a matinée idol, He later acted in art house films, evolving from "heartthrob to icon of edginess". Sounds like exactly what Steve was trying to do. Move past his teen idol, heartthrob image. “Tom Mix stand in” He was Hollywood's first Western star and helped define the genre as it emerged in the early days of the cinema.
“Tom Mix stand in” I had to Google Tom Mix: He was Hollywood's first Western star and helped define the genre as it emerged in the early days of the cinema.
This is Steve the great ...❤
Steve 🎵🎸
Well all right
I my eyes they were one of the best in that time period and are still just as good,,almost better than led Zeppelin sorry to say they were definitely running back to back 😊
Deep Purple with Ritchie Blackmore are better than Led Zeppelin...
My very favorite band when I was getting into rock more and more ,,I was just a teenager,,and they were fantastic,,one band that truly showed Peter Framptons true talent
Amazing, just a magical performance! What an all round great performer. The entire band is impressive. I've followed from the beginning until today. Always surprised when I find someone who's not heard of Humble Pie. ❤️✌️
salute.
Steve Marriott ... the Rock & Roll animal no 1 ..Steve R.I.P
Steve looks ripped.
Steve had a buzz on from the time he woke up. Probably led to his demise at a young age. Regardless, he had one of THE BESTVOICES in all of Rock.
Confused why the MC said acoustic?
