In all 3 games, Quinn Hughes was the best Canuck and the boys are...

Welcome back! What a week it was for the Vancouver Canucks as they went a perfect 3-0 against the Montreal Canadiens, Buffalo Sabres, and Calgary Flames. The boys have a lot of positivity surrounding them right now but overall it was more of a tame week for a team that usually has storylines going on. The biggest storyline this week was undoubtedly Nils Höglanders masterful performance against ...

WTN: Injury's, Fatigue, And League Leaders
i watched a post game senators interview and they were talking to josh norris and his face looked pretty grim. also, they never talked about the hit which i thought was classy.
@@CashMacGregor yeah the part of the boards he went in to is unforgiving. Glad he’s okay cause you just never wanna see that. Hughes deserved a 5 for sure and probably felt bad for hurting his buddy
Jk jkkk they played really well! Can’t wait for next season when they’re back with vengeance 💪🏼
Booooo Canucks
You guys are totally out to lunch. Skinner is a way better call tender than you think he is. And nobody's getting in his head.
He has a .891 save percentage and a 3.32 GAA in his playoff career. He’s also known for getting shaky after letting in a not so good goal. It’s a fair thing to say about hin
@@WhatTheNucksleeping on Skinner is a mistake, he’s pretty solid.
Connect got lucky. Barely managed to win that series against nashville. Probably should be an ahl team.
You’re silly
@@WhatTheNuck ya
Drai was not celebrating a penalty. He was hauled down with 8 seconds to go in game 5. He was celebrating clinching Round 2.
Yeah I thought this was pretty clear, even the announcers were stating it at the time.
GOOOOOOOOOOO OILERS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For Leon celebrating the penalty, it was the end of game 5 when he got hauled down when going for an empty net. Love that people always want the refs to put away the whistles when they play the Oilers. McDavid should draw 5 calls per game.
Yeah he was essentially celebrating securing the win over the series because it was soooo improbable that the Kings could possibly force overtime with just 20 seconds remaining and now going down 1 man on a PK - it actually had nothing to do with the penalty. He would also have celebrated if he hadn't been dragged down and was able to pot the empty netter. Context matters for these things but these guys don't know the context of it obviously.
@@blushingwillowtree6800 yeah unfortunately didn’t know that was the reason. That makes a lot more sense honestly
Every team has their own gears of play styles, once they figure it out!
No shit, yah! 😂
They need too shadow McDavid, Oilers will be don for!
Me, don't matter who wins as long as cup returns, we haven't bin this close since the twins, brothers!
Oilers or Canucks, last Canadian teams, l am for!
We only have one choice guys!
The country will go wild if Canucks won, cup return to Canada!
Jus guessing, relax
Can you see it, the ninth 9 Oilers! 😅
Oh well we'll find out tonight guys!
Jus by looks guess
N.y inlanders/Canucks for Cup, looking like!
Lol😅
Idk if McDavid is a Gretz!
All they have! Oilers one man team! Idk
Idk if McDavid can a cup alone!
Go Canucks Go! I love it! 🎉
Hopefully your Vancouver pick doesn't equal the pounding Boston gave Florida the other night. Swayman the best Goalie this next round bar none...
Have the Canuckle heads booked their tee time for next weekend yet? They better get on it soon.
It feels so surreal that the Canucks are not just in the playoffs but in the playoffs with home ice advantage and with a solid chance of going deep! Major kudos to the Canucks for turning things around after nearly a decade of dumpster fire drama.
The team looks good this year and the core finally seems to have taken that next step! Hopefully it’ll be a fun a playoffs for the fans!
they are 20-24-9 all time without mc david. desmith is oiler kryptonite. hope they end the drama against calgary who you just know want to derail the canuck's bid for the pacific top spot. mik will never score another goal. simpson is a bigger homer than jack edwards. demmer will probably play last 2. 1 home game 1 road game.
nobody drives home drunk from rogers. soucy shit the bed on eichels goal . just left him alone. went to the front of the net when everyone was covered there. silovs has been in some pressure situations. i feel better with him backing demmer.
100% agree. He’s been tough to watch since coming back. Hopefully he figures it out
joshua should be the priority ufa signing. who takes his place? mc donaugh? hronek can be replaced with a decent d man for 3-4 mill. his play has dropped off big time last 15-20 games.
Honestly agree. Hronek isn’t the same without Hughes and his defensive game has gotten worse and worse. Joshua is turning into a gamer for this team
garland has become a bargain for his AAV. he drives lines and should not go back to the 3rd line. same with hoggy. non playoff teams are winning this time of year. edm-sens game yesterday? so good on them for staying focused. why is dak wearing a non contact jersey with a healed hand injury? some other injury?
Garland is a beast and hopefully he continues to build chem with petey. He plays twice his size and we’re glad he never did end up getting traded. Don’t know what’s going on with Dak but we’re more than okay if he rests up until playoffs. Hopefully more guys can get rest once the team clinches!
i wish they would put a big body in front of the net on the PP. 5 on 3 there was nobody in front of the net. SM had clean looks at the shots that got through. great pod, guys.
They are too casual with it and especially their break ins. Fully expect them to figure it out before playoffs but man is it tough to watch them on the PP rn. Also thank you so much🙏🏽
I was just about to subscribe when the host used God’s Name in vain. There’s thousands of us who believe in God. I’ll stick to the Hockey Guy and Clay
We’re sorry about that. We will do our best to not make that mistake again in future episodes
What the nuck is this podcast ???
Merci
How did you addd the 6/49 logo to your thumbnail?
Just found a png of it off google and pasted it over top of everything else!
You are right...this team is not just on a roll but it feels different. While watching the Dallas game I kept thinking, we look like the better team. Shutting out the Stars was massive! What a win. Now we are 3-0 vs the Oilers! That's crazy and wonderful at the same time. I predicted we make the playoffs. So far they are proving me right.
