How the hell did you manage to find a match? It's dead for me on both PC and XB1 (no there is no crossplay for GoWUE sadly).

Maybe it depends on the time like around 8,9,10, or 11 at night.
i was playing gears of war 3 yesterday for the 1st time ever and i saw where people were saying it's still online in 2024 so i went in multiplayer and it looked like a full room but each player had a * on end of name, is that * for bots that just fill up emtpy slots? it's like i played a match with all bots in lobby lol but the horde mode had players with no * by name.

all sweaty tryhards nerds are on gears 5 now. not a lot of fun. I quit and will wait for e-day, maybe some more casual and new players will join

@@thevideogamehunger0134 I don’t anymore but my best memory was when truk Martian I think was his name he was top of the leaderboards in gears 1.. he let me join his group for a day or 2 and he taught me a lot about pvp
