Great movie. They used North American T-28A Trojans for the Yak-9s.

It's not a department store. It's a showroom where they model the dresses for buyers of department stores. Selena Royale as the down and out former rich girl who sells her contacts to Joan is very good.

A heap of fun facts, a mini encyclopedia centered on our morning meal. I loved all of the additional historical connections you made. Yes, a cute little comedy. A good sprinkle of humor never hurts. This style of film is always enjoyable. I am looking forward to your next video.

Such a lavish production offers a feast for the eyes. Sabatini novels have spawned many film adaptations. It's classic swashbuckling drama with plenty of heroics. It never fails to entertain and it is definitely worth watching.Your Sir Henry Morgan segment was excellent. The material is interesting and I always learn something new. An excellent choice, strongly entertaining. One of Gregory Peck's lesser-known films. I found the DVD at a church bazaar. It's wonderful, the style of the shooting is elegant and beautiful, some of the sequences ( because of the colors and cinematography) have a Powell and Pressburger touch. The J. Arthur Rank, British films, tend to be quite good. As is always the case, Gregory Peck's performance radiates a subtle nobility and integrity. He was truly a "one of a kind" actor. I also enjoyed Brenda de Banzie's performance. The spirit and faith of her character are heart stirring, extremely inspiring. Interesting, Win Min Than, left the acting scene for good. Oh well, crossroads and decisiones are a big part of life. By the way, I recently watched a superb Western - "Day of the Outlaw." You might want to do a video on it with a spotlight on Burl Ives or Robert Ryan. Dale, thanks for the terrific video, take good care of yourself.

Probably my favorite Peck film. I have it on DVD and watch it at least a couple times a year. David Lean saw it and was struck by the location shots in the rough country of Sri Lanka. He used those same locations for The Bridge Over The River Kwai. Peck made a number British production films in the late 40's including The Million Pound Note and The Paradine Case.

One if your pictures was a Cessna Crane, not an Anson.

Great job - loved all the neat stuff about September. The tid bits of information really add up. You always do a fine job arranging all of your facts. I'm sure every month of the year offers plenty of interesting material. I've never seen this film. I will hunt for it on DVD. As always - thanks for posting another fine video. A wonderful selection, it's a very special and beautiful film. I've been extremely busy lately, so I'm really glad l caught this video. You did a super job. I loved the biographical portion. It's an inspirational story, rooted in the real life of a man guided by the love of God. God's love makes good things happen. Dale, thanks for your great work. It's a movie I will never stop enjoying. Spencer Tracy was a phenomenal actor, one of the greatest.

One of the most underrated westerns ever made.A classic. Great cast,directing and screenplay

This really looks like a tremendously fun movie, one that I will definitely enjoy. It's also a new one for me, and that always adds a small touch of excitemet and pleasure. A great choice! I don't think it's a very well known film. It is certainly a nice find for me. Dale, I appreciate your valuable recommendation. Every aspect of this video is terrific. Dale - terrific job! I always learn a great deal from all of the details you so nicely organize. I enjoyed your focus on Esther Williams. She had a beautiful smile. The pool at the start of the video is an amazing image, very impressive! Van Johnson always takes my mind to "Yours, Mine and Ours" - a truly wonderful film. A great Western! A great choice & recommendation! Sturges always kept his films busy with good paced action. Dale great segment on Leonard, and I loved the stuff you included about Eastwood.

I really love this movie! It's an awesome package of fun entertainment, lovely colors and great stop - motion animation. A perfect flick for a quiet afternoon. This sort of movie doesn't get stale, it's fun, fun, fun! A load of interesting stuff, Ray H did some fine work. Such great talent! Many pleasant memories are triggered by the movies featuring his wonderful creations. They all looked so real, back in the day. Great video!
