What a fantastic group of jingles. I can hear how PAMS really had to work hard in the seventies to match the quality and effectiveness of what TM was doing.

Nice, lively, bright jingles. I remember years ago reading about a jingle package that was nicknamed "The Woody Woodpecker" jingle package because it had a riff that sounded very much like the laugh the cartoon character "Woody Woodpecker" had, as well as the theme music for the cartoons. This HAS to be the one they were talking about.

I liked these with Music Music Music. This is the place. W K Y C !! however,1968 Power Radio was more Contemporary. Until 1969 when station went softer. NBC news, plus weekends NBC News Monitor news magazine hurt the format. I was a KY guy 1966- 69 near Sandusky in Northwest Ohio.

Those were bountiful jingles from back in the day during the early & mid 1970s.

The early years of Radio 1. From 1969 to 1971 (I believe), Radio 1 integrated include the tune of London Bridge into the jingles. I believe they did away with the London Bridge tune in the jingles starting in 1971.

I was very young at this time, so I don't remember. What format was the station at this time?

KEZY Anaheim had these jingles too: "Anaheim, serving LOS ANGELES!"

These jingles were also used for Radio Centraal and Delta Radio in the Netherlands.

Anything from WBBM-FM in the early '70's? Some great 'soft rock' jingles.

It is rumored that Tom Merriman actually wrote all of the music for this series on an airplane flight from Dallas to Los Angeles. Tom was the musical genius of radio production.

As a kid tuned my radio late at night (only time I could tune it in) in tazewell va!

Most of the jingles were heard on 940 (94 KFRE) in Fresno California in the 1970s and 1980s when they played Hot AC music. Today KYNO has the 940 AM frequency.
