How do the steps change if either operand is negative? I'm trying to find a signed division algorithm without the pre and post flipping for negative numbers.

Sir is booth algorithm and booths recording algorithms are same . Can we proceed booths recoded algorithm instead of using booths algorithm in Anna university exams ??
@Tharun, we have two kinds of recoding schemes 1. bit recoding - used in booth algorithm 2. bit-pair recoding - used in modified booth algorithm
sir if they ask booth algorthm can we apply this any of the two methods ??
