Also! Come to find out the problem was the GM style ignition switch in the steering column. After refurbishing the switch (cleaning contacts and lubing with di-electric grease) it received full 12 volts to the coil. Big Difference!

Can you show the comm lights flashing? What if it says address lock?

How did you get the water out of the skimmer since it has an equalizer? I drained my pool so it is below the top mouth opening but the water is still feeding in the bottom of the skimmer so I can't do a dry repair to the crack on the bottom.

Two part pool putty works just as good what is the product you used

There is a product made from Hayward pool products called smear- it's ground up cycolac. You disolve the product in pvc primer or MEK, then apply to damaged area. Used many times, works like a charm?
