Why is this game so much better than what they have now shouldn't it be the other way around. They made such unnecessary changes why is there no option to play this mode and be able to play the new fortnite like it doesn't even take effort just use a older version of fortnite and put it as a game mode no one likes the fortnite we have now it's all over the place

The excitement from winning that brought me absolute joy. Winning my first game back in season 3 was the greatest thing I got to experience.

They dont have the full OG map in creative because of the limit u can have on an island. Theres complete copies of tomato town and things just not the whole map

wish this is what we got. still finding og fortnite quite fun but i find it seriously annoying that they went like 75% of the way but didn't just fully commit. And yes people would've complained about some of the QOL features being removed, but imo there's less ground to stand on complaining about og fortnite being exactly how it was then compared to what it is now, with some things being og some not. I also feel like they had there chance last year to change og slightly and while it was fun, I think people expected an actual return to og fully instead of another 2nd version of og with changes

lets me tell you sopmething about building back in chapther 0 Season 3 wehn i joined Fortnite. back then there was no Turbo Buidlign Option.... you needed to plce budiling part one by one. that gave people a lot of creativity how to kill players...... On thing was even then having the highground and thats ok. Another was trapping playyers in a smal space where they cant build like tunnels. another was still boxing them but this was easy to escape. and i think back then the game was balanced. When turbo building came out boxing got a new exp. people learned fast how to box players and buidl skybases or even trapp players in boxes using traps. That killed fortnite for many casual players and the sweats did take over fornite. Fornite was then no longer a game where you coud use your creativity to win... it was all about build fights. Epic tryed to balance it with stuff liek the boogie bomb or items to get rid of buldings faster but for most players i didnt work out.

Kjowl, Exactly man that’s what I been saying for years man EPIC is so stupid , they will never get it. We don’t necessarily miss the old map we miss the nostalgia it gives, the graphics the sounds, the simplicity that’s why we loved the game the cartoonish looks. I used to play save the world and I got the same experience because it was just beautiful. I remember when chapter 2 dropped it felt like it was a game that’s copying fortnight. Not fortnight. That’s why it declined.

I dont understand what Epic are doing or trying to cater to with the new OG mode. They either grow a pair and put it back to EXACTLY how it was or dont bother. Sick of it.

they should add a gamemode that has no turbo build so building is slower and harder

the storm clouds in the sky add a lot of detail too the game without it ts look like another battle royale
