Why are they here?
@@user-th7ty4mm3b likely from traffic in Pennsylvania, nobody really checks before they leave. They stow away on cars, boats, trucks, trains, etc...
Oooo, is this gonna be a thing just with Volvo trucks or freightliner too?
Every Volvo I see is always damaged, figured I'd make a game from it. Lol
Just something to think about. Trainers are here to train you. If you come in not willing to listen, we aren't going to deal with you for very long. 2 years total driving experience with a couple carriers, sorry if it pisses you off that I take pride in my work and expect that from you as well. I'm not sugar coating anything for anyone. Best of luck.
It's amazing how fast they are
Sorry mb mb I ordered same day delivery
@@DillonDaVillain-ds5ks damn you!!! Lol
I do like these type of videos. Keep up the good work. I just applied to do the paid CDL training through Roehl.
@@kingdombarber0 nice, just be a sponge, don't get overstressed or frustrated. That can mess with you and create doubt. Have fun with it
Way of the road Ray trailer park boys
Lmao fr. Thanks for saying it for us. I used to be a cart pusber in parking lots, required to pick up trash. So many times, trash cans twenty feet away, they l Leave it on the ground. Lol
@skybuilding5182 it's just pure laziness on their end, I hate seeing, I know you guys hate seeing it, nobody likes stopping at places that smell like piss
Sam on the road with a new shiny truck lol 😂
Finally got out of roehl huh? Congrats!
Yeah I'm outta there lol, I LOVE my KW!
Love this song ‼️‼️
@@Cobalt2348 it's a nice song 🎵
..............what?
I know right?
It’s fed ex what do you expect they don’t give a crap they think rules of the road don’t apply to them
No truer words ever spoken
Why they do that?
How is Roehl’s training for someone that has their CDL but still needs a training. Got my CDL end of 18 drove for a company for about a month. I’d like to start from scratch basically as far as training. Thanks
They'll have you go thru the GYCDL program as a refresher, I believe the contract agreement will be different than the standard amount. I haven't driven since 2016 (16 to 23) but still had a cdl. Really smooth program, you'll be put back out with a trainer afterwards too.
@@Daytimetruckn awesome thank you for the response. I’m over here in Tampa as well. Based on my research, basically RUclips videos. Roehl’s training is really good. Was looking at Roehl, Schneider, Cypress TL, as well as Steven’s TP. Knew the other 3 provided a refresher, but now that you confirmed Roehl as an option, I feel pretty confident on what I want to do. Thank you again
@Linknelson no problem, I can't speak for the other companies but I know for a fact that you should stay away from Schneider. They are super shady. Just looking out for ya!
I understand that the trainer needs to know what’s going on around that vehicle but if the mirrors are strategically placed and adjusted for you in the passenger seat, it would seem they’re most definitely not adjusted properly for the person in the driver seat. Which would mean the driver probably didn’t pre trip correctly. “I have 6 mirrors. They are all properly mounted, not damaged, clean and properly adjusted.”
Fair point and theory, buy the mirrors are placed where both driver and passenger can utilize them properly
@@Daytimetruckn Yeah mostly but not totally. I’m partially trollin you lol. Just wanted to throw some Roehl pre trip verbiage out there.
@@Willy_On_Wheels lol thanks for dropping in
@@Daytimetruckn No problem man. I’ve been subscribed for probably around 6 months now. I just finished my gycdl in Marshfield on Saturday. Gonna handle the dmv stuff for my CDL tomorrow. Then it’s just a waiting game until I can get a trainer. Be safe out there.
@@Willy_On_Wheels thanks, you too!
Yep shoulda coulda woulda ...🥴 feeling a little woozy
Lol you never know what's gonna happen unfortunately
do you know who hires someone who has a sap all endorsements and a twic card with no experience
As long as you can commit to the job, roehl does
@Daytimetruckn thank you I tried then they told me no
@@LkEkE sorry bud
Quick question . When training with driver is those 19 or so days concurrent
Those are days logged as on duty working, resets do not count so your looking at about a month total
You sound like a good trainer, can I train with you I’m a recent grad
I just picked up a student this week, I'm unavailable for a month
Hate to say it, but any young person that would choose a career in trucking now im seriously doubtful of their decision making ability. Right now trucking is about the worse trade you could choose for a career .
To eaches own, I started initially in 2015 when they still had manual trucks. This job is pretty much for single dudes, non people people and immigrants (some with non valid cdl's)
@Daytimetruckn I started at TMC back in 1997, and it has steadily gotten worse ever since. I'm local LTL now it's not too bad, I have friends that do HVAC and we used to make around the same money in the early 2000s, now they all make well above 6 figures..and I dont.
@@questtech7148 times aren't great, not gonna lie
@@Daytimetrucknhere is my situation.. I was really going to go off with doing this truck driver stuff...but the training things you have to worry about any mechanical issues it's on you and on your time.. have a schedule non stop.. and have to be smart on your end.. not sure about it all yet. But after so many hrs you have to reset or something like that.. and keep going that.. but honestly feel like I want to towards it anymore... Rather let someone do it for me... Right now I feel like my decision is to learn how to be a concrete driver instead... Here in Florida. And I always see concrete being poured everyday.. even the days I don't go to work because there isn't for everyone... Guess what.. concrete drivers are there making it happen... I've been at the end of the stick.... Am happy to earn a well but not so stable income.. make 600-700 or some times I do make those 1000 bucks a week. But it's not always certain... Why I am going to the DMV today and get the book that is needed to learn about the test about it.. and in the meantime try to learn it all as best of my knowledge... Am 23 turning 24 in weeks... July 13th... And time is passing... And I haven't made a single time barly to go out and eat a bit and come back... If I lived on my own I wouldn't make it.. barely able to make those high end payment bills and insurance.. feel like am living off pay check to paycheck. I know both Spanish and English.. I did graduate highschool.. but to be suffering is my own fault.. why I took 7 yrs off my life.. and no results.. didn't think at the time.m but I've seen comments say about truck driving and trailimg heavy loads of equipment but just way more responsibility for that job... Respect to those who do it..
So what’s a good decision? Go into tech? Have you seen the tech layoffs? Over 100,000 fired in the last 24 months - and not everyone can become a doctor lawyer engineer. Trades may be the only way to go if you really believe trucking is terrible
I've been driving for about 4 months I have seen a lot of truck drivers with bad habits with examples you spoke of. I also have my shortcomings but I try to identity those and build those around safety. Safety is key with everything to do with a truck.
Absolutely
Thanks for the video man, I’m fixing to get into Trucking myself and never really look into your Company……I’ve been looking at CFI and Schneider for my starter Company……You seem like a cool dude 👍…..I’m single no kids no bills except for my cellphone and plan to live in my Truck and stack my money and I really think I will enjoy it and do my first year and see how it goes….would like your opinion on my situation and does your Company offer CDL training school?
I'm not going to convince you to come to roehl if you don't want to but it's much better than Schneider. Schneider is mega shady and they have a bunch of lawsuits against them. Roehl has a GYCDL program, it's pretty smooth and that's good idea to do it like that. I'd do that if I could.
@@Daytimetruckn I’m in Southwest Arkansas, if I chose Roehl where would I go for my CDL training?
@cwc8979 either Marshfield, Appleton or Gary terminal are likely bets, I believe they cover travel expenses
@@Daytimetruckn During training out on the road with Roehl is the Truck stopped and both Trainer and Trainee are sleeping at the same time? I don’t like these Companies that run it like a Team as in Prime for example
@cwc8979 they do not run team style, when the trainer is up you're up, when your clock runs out that's it for the day.
How? 🤦♂️
That dumb a** should have just blocked the whole highway.
Sam on the road lol
Sam a professional lol
Sorry 😢
Thanks, was friends for 27 years and he died after heart surgery last year. It's been a rough year
@Daytimetruckn yea I know it's dan my main youtube account I feel bad we grew up together but as adults we grew apart different interests which is fine I never not liked him rip davido
Reminds me of the lewisburg, Ohio mines
Oklahoma has frequent seismic activity due to all the fracking in the state. (or someone on the other side of that wall is making a lot of movement)
We had the last room on the building, nobody on the other side of it but fracking makes sense
There is a couple doing the deed in the room next to yours
Not this time lol
Truck driving simulator 😆😆. That would be where the experts come from. No paycheck simulator tho
Some people call themselves truck drivers but some are just full of sh*t and give the industry a bad name!
Absolutely
Good advice 👍
Thanks 👍
Seems like a lot of not paying attention going on
May buster have another just as good... It's not you buster it's me
Behind the wheel is the real world, its great
American Truck Simulator, i will give it props. Its incredibly accurate, when you consider the scaling of things in the game. That said, you don't get realistic truck handling by vanilla. There's a mod for it though that's really nice. Do i get to call myself triple certified? CDL A IRL with driving employment. Before ATS and ETS i played loads of 18 Wheels of Steel. The OG ATS.
Lol, the simulator is nice but if people put that effort into a game I think they should actually be out here getting paid to do it, ya know?
Same with security sam lol
My bad
Amen
Wasn't me lol
Nasty
It is
I didn't think meth heads took a shit!
Need more people with your kinda energy
I'm not trying to come off like a hippy but I'm just getting really sick of seeing this every single place I go. Every driver has the same response of "why don't they let us park here" and it's because of this.
@@Daytimetruckn😂 maybe it wouldnt happen if they did let us inside to take a damn poop😂😂😂 have fun steppin
@@Jose-ph8no this is at a Flying J on I-80 in Illinois. Lazy drivers can go inside and take a dump.
I keep trash bags I my truck only a $1 at dollar general don't take all that stop being bone heads
Management came out and had him pick every piece of trash up around his area lol
Yup, we as a group are shooting ourselves in the foot. I’ve seen in more than one truck stop, plastic bags full of sh&t. It’s really disgusting
I'm a trucker and I agree lazy bastards
Your just in the right place is all brotha
