Afternoon Ride in Newfoundland on XR650l

Newfoundland is know for its rugged beauty, rocky terrain and wet conditions. As such it's well suited to the XR650L's rugged nature. My bike in the video has had a few custom tweaks done to it to help me survive these little outings. No, zero, zilch, nada, none, zip, context. WOW, a tool that smashes heated metal. Who knew it could be done?
Great compact design and not too complicated to build, great job.
Awesome
*THWACK!*
Very nice
👍👍
Thanks for the explanation!
Very nice adaptation. I like how you joined the verticals together at the top. The only think I would add would be some sand and oil in the verticals to help dampen noise and add some ballast. Definitely going to have to lay out one of these for my shop.
I like the idea of sand in the verticals. I have sand in the lower wooden stand for the base but didn't do it for the rods, might a good upgrade. Thanks for the idea.
awesome!
Nice improvements to Coleson's design, which was mighty nice its ownself! I, too, am amazed that you finished it so quickly. Thanks for sharing this.
Such nice tool but those loose chains would drive me mad in matter of days xD
It's a work in progress. The chain will be cut to length and I may add a rigid length adjust bar at the top to get rid of the issue.
This is really cool man! Thank you for the shout out! Not at all what I was imagining. I'm shocked that you built this as fast as you did.
Glad you like the design. My shop is recreational but well equipped so projects go pretty fast for me, also I was looking for a few weeks for the right concept so thank you for providing that needed element.
