Attached mac mini m4 pro with dell u4025qw with Thunderbolt 5 cable. The monitor support only thunderbolt 4 but the cable is backward compatible. Overall I like this cable as it made the screen snappy. 1m is a bit short than thunderbolt 4 cable that came with this monitor. Areas of improvement include ethernet data transfer when connected to monitor, mouse and keyboard scrolling, overall display experience will see minor improvement.

Compatibility with dell u4025qw 1. Install dell u4025qw drivers from dell website. The firmware update is optional, still if you want to upgrade it ensure that the monitor or mac dont get turned off. Electricity failure can cause mac mini to turn off, this can make monitor dead. 2. Do not turn off bluetooth, its almost impossible to turn it on without a wired mouse. 3. You cannot control monitor sound and brightness using keyboard. For this go to monitorcontrol website and download the free app. It work flawless and you can control brightness and volume of monitor. 4. Screen resolution can be default 2560 by 1080 120hz ddpi or 3260 by 1350 120hz ddpi. The text is clear and no issues with visibility. 5. Kvm work ok ish. Better to connect keyboard and mouse separately. 6. Android phone cannot transfer files directly in mac. You may need an external pendrive to copy data to pendrive first and then to mac mini. 7. 256 GB base storage variant you can buy for normal use. For professional stuff go with m4 pro. 8. apple tv , music , final cut pro available for 3 months free trial. Netflix shows hd quality on website but actual videos are in 4k. Press ctrl opt shift d while the video is playing in normal window to see bitrate. 9. Bitdefender, ms office 365 works flawlessly. 10. Shutdown button is not a problem you can keep the device running as power consumption is negligible. Less than 1 watt in sleep mode or you can turn off the electricity. 11. No earthing current for mac mini. Macbook two pin cable gives earthing current while charging. For this you have to buy a three pin indian plug from amazon india or apple india store. 12. They ship with blue dart express shipping. 13. Samsung Dex support is removed in 2022. It does not work at all with mac. After searching a lot and not finding a single video about how to open racold omnis lux plus geyser, finally found a way all by myself. Even the authorised technician was clueless about how to open this screw less design. 😅 Hope this helps someone looking to open it.

Just upgraded desk setup with dell u4025qw ultra wide monitor. Ambient sensor is a bit meh. Rest is good. For kvm to work you have to keep mouse pointer in the middle for 2-3 sec. Not many knows this and believe it doesn't work 😅 😊. For ethernet to work on hdmi/dp port devices you need to download ethernet drivers from dell support website. Check full unboxing and installation video on channel.
