For the DCL app, you won't be able to link it until you are at the port. When you check in during the embarkation process, they will ask if anyone has a MagicBand+ in your party and link the band to the stateroom/reservation by tapping it with their tablet. Once the cruise is over, the MagicBand+ is no longer connected to the reservation and you will go through the same process the next time you cruise since it is a new reservation.

At the time of booking, the excursion was listed as "Best Of The West Side By Catamaran (SL77)" on the DCL Navigator App!

@@Alexweeyums Yes, I would recommend this excursion to get a nice, up-close view of the Pitons. Although we did have some mechanical issues, the crew fixed it immediately, and was definitely a one-off thing, and they really turned it around mood-wise. They served lunch onboard, had snorkel gear available, and unlimited rum punch on the sail back to the ship. Not only did you get stunning views approaching the Pitons, but the catamarans parked in a small bay with a beach in between the two peaks where we could swim and relax for, I would say 30 minutes. They got as close to the Pitons as possible via the water. You will also visit Pigeon Island, we did not because of the timing with a festival and tourist restrictions, but I have heard that is also stunning as well.

I do not have too much video footage on the actual port arrival experience but can describe some key features! The Magic sailed out of the San Juan Cruise Port next to the convention center. There were plenty of Ubers and taxis that could get you there. They will drop you off right in front of the port entrance. The area to drop off your luggage is outside, and the distance from the taxi area is a couple yards away. They then will have you line up OUTSIDE according to port arrival time. Vendors were also out there selling water and ice cream. The area is covered, but if it is humid out you definitely want to time it, so you are not there way before your arrival. Compared to Port Canaveral, Disney's home base, this port was much smaller. As I mentioned in the video, you will be boarding via Deck 4 so there is a combination of escalators/elevators and ramps to get you from ground level to where Deck 4 sits.
