Hello and welcome! I'm just a regular guy, interested in ripping cards and building my personal collection. I've been getting back into the card collecting world and these videos are meant to chronicle that journey, along with show the good and bad of buying boxes. As we are approaching Halloween and spooky season, it felt appropriate to grab a pack of Haunted Hoops and rip it on the channel. These cards are meant to be passed out at Halloween as an alternative to candy - if you were a kid, would you rather get a 3 pack of cards or a fun-sized candy (that you may not be able to choose)? 40 packs in the box, 3 cards per pack, about $30. This was an interesting rip, but the cards are such low quality that you need to pull something really unique of a great player to even consider getting some money back. In this video, we're ripping a mega box of 2024 Panini Crusade. 8 packs per box, 6 cards per pack, $65 for the box. This was a fun rip, however if you are hoping to recoup your money in card value, I might avoid this set. Card design feels like the old Crusade, but like most unlicensed stuff, this stuff isn't going to be worth much in resale.

Random pack day rip! I decided to grab a couple packs of Hockey cards, and realized these are the first hockey cards I've ripped it at least 25 years! I think I should have gone with a different set, as this one was a bit underwhelming, but I'll blame that on my ignorance when it comes to Hockey cards. Also ripped some Topps Series 2 fat packs and pulled a numbered card.

Is this the worst hobby blaster you've ever seen of 23-24 Optic Basketball? Because I think it's the worst box I've opened in a WHILE. Really it had 0 cards of value. $65 for the box, 6 packs per box, 5 cards per pack. Not a ton of margin for error with such a small box, however, I expect to at least pull a couple decent cards.
