Hi, great video! I unfortunately bought a pre-built Omen 45L with this exact graphics card in it and am currently building my own pc, while wanting to keep using my old graphics card. Would you recommend me to buy thermal pads like in your video and Kryonaut Extreme thermal paste, or should I buy a cooler like the Morpheus 8069 and some Noctua fans?

Hey quick question. When there is a OC and a non OC version... Could there be differences in the cooler and what components have direct contact to the heat sink or is it cooler wise exactly the same (which would make sense regarding manufacturing cost)? To be exact I'm thinking about the asus tuf gaming and the asus tuf gaming oc. Sadly there is only a review of the normal one and not for the oc version on TechPowerUp.

My peerless assassins only hits 78c in cinebench on my 5800x3d on a warm day. Cooler days near winter it only hits around 74c

Zotac trinity 3rd option?? This is the cheapest card in my country. The difference with palit (2nd cheapest) is about 65$. Tuf is the best but the difference is around 200$ more expensive than Zotac trinity. I thought palit > zotac because of the temperature difference. I had zotac amp 3080 previously and it's broken after 3+ years (1.5 years goes for full mining). So i guess i will buy zotac again, hopefully this will last longer than my 3080

Is it Upsiren 3D Graphite pads? Did you use 2.2mm thickness on both sides? Do you remember what rest of the pads were? Did you use some phase-change paste for core? You seem to only say that VRAM uses 2.2mm pads at 7:15 while stating that all pad thickness were picked for best results, so I'm a bit lost :D

Thank you for this review. If you can provide details or suggestion for the Zotac 4070 ti super amp holo, that would be greatly appreciated!! It's on sale right now where I live, however I can't find any detailed review of it. Going for the same price as the tuf model - though I have no idea for how long.

Haha you are giving the Asus Tuf card a bad and avoid it while the Asus Strix has less cooling on the VRM's but more of them as good? Haha. The VRM's are made to withstand 105c for 20.000 hours...and they don't get nearly that hot with the 4080 super tuf gaming card wich is actually one of the best. Then your MSI Expert is so called the best card while it is in fact the worst...worthless look on this topic for sure. If you want to copy Buildzoid actually hardcore overclocking get your facts straight! I bought my non OC Asus Tuf gaming RTX 4080 super and it is by far the best card i ever had. It's cooler is designed for the 4090 and has plenty of headroom.
