The Highlands and Islands Students' Association (also known as Your Students' Association) represents all higher and further education students across the University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI) and its partners.
HISA is run by students, for students, and we want to ensure you have a strong and valued voice at your college and across UHI. Our team of Student Officers is elected by you, to represent your views from the classroom right up to the University Court!
HISA is also here to help you enjoy your time as a student - we can help you with setting up clubs, starting societies and organising events. HISA hosts many of our own events too, including Sports Day, Freshers, Student Elections, HISA Awards and our annual Students' Association Conference.
Helping to improve your time studying is at the heart of everything we do, we promote inclusion, celebrate individuality and fight for the issues that affect you!

Spring Elections 2024
Get ready with us for the results of the Spring Elections 2024! We had 613 Students voting 1731 times this year, which is around a 3% turn out of all students at UHI.
