My dad (an Aussie) immigrated to Canada because he fell in love with my mom (a Canadian) and he absolutely adored John Williamson. I'm blessed to have an Aussie passport. My dad died of cancer in 2017 and when he was in hospice, we had this song on loop as requested. He died to this and he died a forever proud, true blue Aussie.

Im nearly 60years old still brings a tear when John sings his Kelpie dog my beloved late father bought me my first Kelpie puppy when I was just 5years old mummy called her lady she was black with brown eye brows and paws i have a 4year Kelpie who looks and act's exactly the same her name is Lady Bird 🐦 Thank you John for your amazing songs i love them all 🤠🤠👍👍🐴🐴🐨🐨🦘🦘🦘🦘
