This is the process of a skilled craftsman applying the traditional reed membrane "Cheong" to a bamboo daegeum. I recently upgraded from a plastic daegeum to a handmade bamboo daegeum, and the person who made it applied cheong. An introduction for anyone interested in traditional Korean instruments!

These are the foods I ate during my recent trip to Korea and more Korean foods I eat every time I go to Korea. These Korean foods are hard to find in the US, so I always eat them when I go to Korea. Not all of them were included in the video, but there are about 30 foods (37 restaurants). My favorite restaurants are mainly in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, and Busan.

While traveling Korea, I visited Yangjaecheon in Seoul and Onbit Natural Recreation Forest in Nonsan, Chungcheongnam-do to see the fall foliage. These are great photo spots to visit in the fall, so there are many people on the weekends.

I went to Gyeongbokgung Palace for its night opening, which is only available in the spring and fall. It was dark so the pictures didn't turn out well, but I think they turn out prettier if you wear a hanbok.

Oh wow I knew edible flowers are exist, but I never had any interest in growing them until I saw your video. All the dishes you made looked delicious and appealing. I'm curious, what does this taste like? Also what was the last dish you made? If you don't mind, could you share the recipe? (because it looks easy and crispy, I'd love to try making it myself once I have the flowers :D )
This one tastes like a very faint citrus. The last dish was Korean fried pancakes with the flower on top. I can make a recipe video for the dish later on :)
