Well, this video has really outdone ALL other “so called” videos. The most in depth by far out there. You’re amazing Rose! I planted 3 in fabric containers. One thing I found out is lavender in the ground is drought tolerant but when in containers they need to be treated as any other plant when watering, maybe a little less. I know I have a munstead but the other 2 are just labeled lavender but maybe with this vid I’ll be able to figure them out. I’m a former Sonoma County girl and miss the lavender fields unbelievably now that I’m on the east coast. I struggle to keep them alive every year but I keep trying. I’ll have a better shot after watching your series. Now I’m off to watch how to prune and all the rest. Ty so much Rose 🌹

Seems kinda silly to comment that the native soil has no organic material in it. That's primarily what is made of! Looks beautiful to me.

Thanks for so much great information. I just visited your wonderful nursery and bought 2 caper plants. I created 2 rock jumbles on a berm in part sunshade and planted them over a base of chunky"gravel (1-3" mixed rocks) and am crossing my fingers. Patience is NOT my strong suit however!

I'm a novice gardener and visited Morningsun this past weekend (April 2024) to pick up some herbs. I love this place! And it's fun to feed the mini donkeys. 😊

Lemon verbena is my fav herb too! But we must bring it in, one of the few herbs I grow indoors in winter here in Illinois.

I love your videos, I've been getting Morningsun newsletters for about 10 years and finally made it there yesterday. Herbs are my favorite thing to grow so it was a treat to come, I had some friends meet me at the farm. I was worn out from the drive and missed some hoops and never found the mint, I forgot a pear mint darnit! The strawberry mint is a top favorite out of all my plants in the last five years, I believe my favorite farmer's market seller in Citrus Heights bought and propogated it from you, that's the best in water in summer. I start a lot of my seeds then volunteer at a food bank farm in the greenhouse but can't resist new basil varieties, I'm already planning another trip soon. Please make more videos, you're so passionate about herbs you're a joy to listen to and learn from!

Hello from Trinidad. Love to watch your videos and learn so much from them. Here we have what we commonly call small leaf thyme , my neighbour has about 8 of them lining his walkway for over 10 years. They are about 3 feet tall. So it seems some varieties live very long.
