Double check the display signs on the display at inrush current measurement mode is shown. Instead of texting and four line bars there's also AC sign in the lower left corner as well as text 0.00 Hz and symbol "A" both placed in the upper right corner. At defective clamp meters in inrush current measurement mode there are missing these symbols.
