your just raising the pH of the water using acidity, vinegar is using some form of fruit and then left in water with a cheesecloth on top so air can enter, this will then make alcohol, now continue the process let the bacteria in the alcohol eat the alcohol and your left with vinegar@Recipes

@@zerperior yes, search it up but what happens is the yeasts eat the sugar and convert that into alcohol, over-fermenting it in open air (for air flow) causes the yeasts to now convert the alcohol into acetic acid, after a point some of the bacteria break the vinegar into water while the yeast continue to break down the alcohol until it is less that 0.5% ABV which is legally non-alcoholic and now legally sold under the name, non-alcoholic. This is real vinegar.

@@IntelliSkit ohh thats so fasinating, i knew it had to do with fermentation but i thought maybe the fermentation was less that that one used in alcohol, the interesting thing is that vinegar is so healthy whilst alcohol is dangerous, yet both come from the same substance and same process (fermentation)
