I was scrolling tiktok yesterday and this song was in a short clip, and I remembered it, and it felt right for the moment.. So in my usual fashion, I rushed to see what it might sound like if I were to learn it for a set.. Alll the extra stuff withstanding, though, the stage does seem to be growing.. but one spot still remains empty .. and the song tells the story.. oh yeah.... serious bad hair...

Well this definitely falls under Jam's .. This was the very first song I ever wrote (musically) in the summer of 1985 with Vince and a little bit of Joi coming in with the lyrics. I like that Todd 👍 Sounds great for an iPhone recording - I can't get my head around how good they can sound these days, very resonant and detailed. The tune makes me think of sitting by a river, watching the boats and listening to water lapping against the banks. Very gentle and inspiring.
