I'm scratch building R2's foot shells. I elected to 3D print the trim at the bottom to save me from the tedious knife work. To minimize puttying and sanding, I explored cold vapor polishing.

how can it moves when it turns? one wheel will force wrong when it turn around itself
Sorry for just seeing this question. This setup is similar to a tank drive. When he turns right, his left set of wheels drive forward at a higher speed than the right side. The right side goes completely in reverse if turning quickly on a dime. There is drag since the wheels aren't angling the direction of the turn, just as a tank, but it goes unnoticed on most surfaces. You can see other videos on my channel for how it behaves.

vary interesting. I did nearly the same thing. I used magnetic switch's for a closed circuit alarm system instead of read switch's. I used 4 one at 12,3,6 and 9 o'clock. But I have been thinking of adding 4 more to get a better position reading. I used 4 motion sensors, so when R2 see motion he turns an looks at the motion, The magnetic switch shows where hi head is. So I curious how well yours worked out?
