We love records as much as you do. Especially 45s, to be frank.

WOW wven Andy gasped seeing this. How did you find it? (friend of Andy here).
we're a record store that sells only 45s. We were fortunate enough to find it in one of the buys we made.
Sounds great!
Soft and beautiful song(Brazil)
2024,,,,,, what cha’ll know fa dat,, aye yee yiiiii
I was in the Classroom with Mr. Dimitroplosis, we sang this song as 4th and 5th graders .
How fantastic!
I wish I could find a copy of this 45!
@@ninajames3561 Hi Nina, I wondered how many other former students are still alive and might have a copy of this record?
Love these songs 🎵 ❤
It's from 1985. The guys backing are from Norway. Bygg Band is a Norwegian cajun group.
Kool FM introduced me to this somg, the first time I heard I immediately c alled Mikey Bennett and he told me that there was only two copies of this song....Jerome Jackson has one copy and he has the other😂
I don't know why they showed me this video. I thought it was going to be some R&B but it is country. I am not leaving a down vote as the singer didn't do anything wrong but the RUclips website shouldn't have suggested it.
Catalog,#TD 3405 A
Folk 🎵 music at its best...Thanks
Listen to THAT voice.....
I guess I have to comment. I was an owner operator trucker...from a big city, and that was my C.B. radio handle.
Nice!
I remember he sang this i belive at his Alabama Barn Party 💜
Awesome singer and song! New to me! ❤❤❤
Good song , and an even better production .
I'll second that comment.....
There is speculation that Duane Allman plays on this
Wow! Really?!
@@frankshanklysrecordemporium Yep. On the website called Duane Allman Info you can read about all of his session work.
Eddie Hinton played the dobro apparently. However, the electric slide sounds a bit different and has that Duane woodiness tonal quality. It would be great to get confirmation but it’s speculative at this point.
@@XxSkydog71xX Yes, I wonder who know?
I dont know why i clicked this but i like it.
Sounds really terrific to me great job Jimmy
Very interesting!
Remake of Rod's 1962 single. Funny thing: Koppelman-Rubin wrote the 1962 song...but now, same song is written by Rod Bernard!
Hell , I couldn't square dance even if my very life depended on it . But you know what ? I really like listening to these restructured country classics designed for square dancing ! Very enjoyable indeed .
They really are enjoyable, aren't they? The caller usually has a beautiful voice.
I want to hop in the car with my old lady and follow the sun to California, some 2,000 miles from Chicago.
Excellent . And expresses a much more meaningfully abstract sense to the understanding of richness . Great message !
His commanding officer was Colonel Mark Azaleno
Thank you I thought well maybe it’s worth a try
My uncle Anthony Carmen Lombardo was in the strategic air command band around 1960. I’ve been trying to find some information on him and I just seen this. I thought I would check in. Would you have known him? He passed in 1970 at the age of 39 years old and week before he retiredfrom his service in the Air Force
I’m sorry I don’t. Best wishes in your hunt to find out more about him.
Nice song , great voice , very pleasing to listen to .
Rather engaging reinterpretation of a classic . Quite pleasant and innovative . Presumably done for square dancing activity .
Yes, indeed, Wagon Wheel was a label that only recorded and released records for square dancing.
Like this have any more ? Blues are my favorite.
To the best of our knowledge, this was Joyce's only single. Which is too bad because she is wonderful.
@@frankshanklysrecordemporium I agree , is there a flip side ?
@@larryford5905 The B-side is Joyce singing with her sister Linda New on I'M THE GIRL. The record label, Split, was owned by their parents Alice And Robert New.

Come Fall thats the thing to do!!!.
Indeed.
Wow just wow
I love songs from ASCAP publisher members ,such as the Robbins Music Corporation and the Miller Music Corporation.
Jim would approve of this tribute. RIP Jim.
Great record thanks 😘
The flip side of this single was Top 10 in Cincinnati [WSAI]. Of course, with Bo Donaldson, this group would score a massive hit with "Billy Don't Be A Hero" four years later.
That's interesting. I didn't know they were the same group. Thanks!
Thank u for doing this I love this song
Okay, I know exactly why the major labels didn't pick her up--thought she'd be competing with Patsy Cline, or be taken as piggybacking on Cline. Still a great voice! In fact, with a name like "Joyce New," it wouldn't surprise me if this weren't an unknown Cline experimental later pressed into a record.
She really does have a wonderful voice!
I don't recall this AT ALL. And I lived through 68 as a teenager. Did this not climb the country charts at all?
Probably not. Tower was a subsidiary of Capitol and a home to country and garage artists with a lower profile than Capitol's rosters. Singles from Tower were terrific, but rarely moved up the chart very far.
@@frankshanklysrecordemporium Thanks for the info!
Not yet.
Do you have his single "The Pagan"?
They don't have it-I checked.
Sad country the best!
